2022 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Review - The $144,000 Smile Bringer

Here our host Bradley Hasemeyer got a hold of a 2022 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS for a review. It's a surprisingly spacious Porsche that doesn't beat you up while you drive it. I mean, your wife could fall asleep in it, making it a relatively peaceful smooth Porsche. In this Moby Dick you can fly through the city with your kids, small friends, or even a medium amount of groceries, and not just have to rely on a teeny tiny frunk.
A $144,000 dream machine, the GTS trim level is a rear mounted 473-hp version of the lineup's flat-six. Eight-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmission is available, as well as rear or all-wheel drive. Black center locks on the wheels, tuned suspension with rear helper springs, and larger iron brake rotors from the top-tier Turbo adorn it. You could opt for the "lightweight package" that removes the rear seats and adds carbon-fiber front buckets, lighter glass, and a rear-wheel-steering system. You can add in a $500 baby seat for high speed runs to the day care before it incurs that vicious late-fee - regular baby seats don't fit in a Porsche.
The 2022 Carerra GTS gets 32 mpg - a huge amount of savings for a supercar. Based on data from 11 vehicles, 507 fuel-ups and 121,911 miles of driving, the 1990 Porsche 911 got a combined avg. MPG of 17.21

Bradley, Having just ordered a ‘23 911 GTS Coupe, I’ve watched dozens of reviews of this car. Plenty are good. But yours is a conversation and one I felt like I was a part of. A+ man!
A GTS in GT silver just works. I'm not even a huge silver fan but it looks great on a 911 with all the black GTS accents. What a beauty. Nice review!

@@bondking0077 Thats why I went with Aventurine Green Metallic for my 4 GTS Coupe. It is an absolutely stunning colour. Giant smile car.
I love mine so much. Got it with 2400 miles late January and it’s now sitting at 43xxx miles. Same spec but mine has black calipers and the turbo leather interior, horizontal stitching on seats and diagonal stitching on doors. Insane. BEST CAR EVER.

RaceTex not SportTex is on the steering wheel and door panels in the GTS. SportTex is typically found in the seat centers on cars like the Carrera T.

13 minutes video, and 10 minutes of it you film only yourself. would have liked to see something of the car, but apparently you're more in love with yourself than with the Porsche.

What do you think about the Turbo S in comparison to the GTS? Why not a Turbo S?

I’ve had both. 991.2 GTS and 992 Turbo S. Both amazing cars . IMHO best Porsche 911 as an all rounder is the GTS.
At 6’1” was it comfy? For a 2 or 3 hour road trip.

I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. My GTS with 18way seats fits perfectly. It is really comfortable for daily driving, and seems to have extra seat cushioning compared to S and 4S

@@WFO. I din configure mine, bought it off the lot, mine doesn't have rear axel steer, but it does handle great not sure what i am missing there. Also can live without upgraded sound system, with all the mechanical noises music is generally a hindrance.

Sorry didn’t like this review way too much talking I want to see inside / out of the car, driving experience, engine and exhaust sound
