Ask the interviewers their time line for hiring to know when to expect a response. That is what I did. I did not have 8 question in my interview either. It was a Freeform tell me about yourself interview only.

They do a background check and a consumer report or investigative consumer report which includes credit check. I just finished my background and CRA check with CitiBank. They do this after you sign your contract for employment. The background check was thorough. They were contacting me for further documentation on education and employment and they also talk to my references listed in the résumé.

Hi I got an email a week after I sent a chaser email to the recruiter at citi after my interview stating "in preparation for next step please fill attached document and return back to me" which was the compensation package template. What does that mean? She never stated whether I got the job or not so I am kinda confused. Any one who knows that can explain this to me please, thanks.

I talked to a senior recruiter in NYC. They said they will send out an offer in two weeks once the team is selected. The compensation template IS the offer or part of it. Than you will probably have the clauses to the job offer agreement.

Jobs status change from aplication review to business review any one knows meaning of that status.

That means the Hiring Manager has looked at your application. A Recruiting Review means the Recruiter has viewed it. Business Review will rank higher and an interview request should follow shortly or Process Completed, which means you're out of the race. Good luck.

I had an interview with Citibank VP, AVP and other members of the department. The interview was nothing like this. That was a final interview given online only! Actually mentioned all this info on the YT and the net. VERY WRONG! each job application is different not all jobs are the same. I did fine wrapping up the discussion under 30 minutes.

See my point was that each interview is unique. Of course, there’s a lot of interviews for internships and associate roles for those that are graduating from university, but on the whole, each job has very specific requirements, and the interview will be unique. I had an interview for an ETF associate analyst position, so that’s very different from an undergraduate applying for an internship or a full-time role as a recent graduate. Of course the basic questions will be asked like why do you want to work in this department or job?, What is your past experience related to the job? Do you have any questions about the job and the number one question tell me a bit about yourself. I got the job, but there were a number of factors determining the offer. I elected to disclose my gender racial background, which was a big factor. Another big factor was I worked in the city area for a very long time, so I’m not a candidate will work a couple years and quit. So there’s a number of factors involved in the job offer not just qualifications alone.

So just to provide and update. I was offered a position, and I am in my background check stage took fingerprints as well. All this time my job application status has said “Business Review” however when I checked my status today it said “Welcome” do not know if that means that everything is good, and I got the job? Can anyone share some insight on this for me?
