1hr review!! Now we're talking
i have never had a Nissan but damn this truck looks nice
I have never wanted a Nissan truck before. Now I do, Great video well done Mike.
Now this is the amount of detail I want in a video about a car. i want to know everything. Thank you for this.
Bought mine in July last year. I'm loving it. One thing I've noticed about the cruise control is if your driving on clear dry roads using cruise control, and the outside temperature falls below a certain temperature. It will kick off thinking the roads might be icy. It won't let you turn it back on until you turn the vehicle off and restart it. You can drive it normally without the cruise control.

Uhhh.... thats insane to me. Whats the point i would lose the ability to use it most of the year
agreed, sitting in a tacoma is like sitting in a sports car, not like sitting in a proper truck. Good to see Nissan has proper seating height

I loved the seeting position in the tacoma. I wouldn't compair it go my audi tho
I love the style and how you do your videos. Different from 99% of the other people who do car reviews. High quality, lots of details covered. Thank you for giving a darn!
You're the best, man. Only 1 pt. off for not letting us hear the Fender audio
It makes you wonder what else you need for $45k. It has everything. If you I price a $55k gladiator it’s missing a long list this covers. Looks easy to work on. I like this truck in black.
Just signed papers on my pro 4x, have to wait for the PDI to be completed to pick it up but can't wait. Great video I wish more people would do these long reviews would have made my purchasing decision way easier. Especially these days when it isn't always the easiest to find trucks on the lot to test drive.
I bought this exact truck in January ‘22. Love it. Drives great, seats are super supportive and comfortable. Only gripe is no telescoping steering wheel.

EXCELLENT video. Actually informative and quality descriptions. Thank you!
Excellent pointer dude!
A great in depth video! Thank you!
Great review man, nicely done 🔥
Good to see the yellow hands in motion! Not a Nissan fan but this is one handsome truck
Most detailed review ever! Thanks just what I was looking for. Good job.
Very nice review!!
Mike, love the video. Like others have said, I enjoy your style of review as well as the information you cover. I want this truck now, ha! Keep it up!
Mike you had me at 01:33, that finger! It definitely made the video and thanks for such a comprehensive review. I’m in the market but having a difficult time choosing. I’ll keep you posted.
That green is EVERYTHING 😍😍😍
Excellent video! Thank you.
Great Review
The best video I've seen as far as explaining all the features of the truck Tkanks
I seriously looking at this truck. Thank you for the great review
Good review. Very detailed breakdown of the aesthetic looks of the interior and exterior of the Frontier as well the mechanical breakdown of truck. I’ve test driven the Frontier. It is an exceptional vehicle.
Good review & great Nissan.
That pointer is hilarious.
Saving my pennies. I love this Pro 4x--even the color is awesome
NICE TRUCK!
I just bought one yesterday! I can't wait until it comes in.

So how do you like your badass truck....
You present the best video reviews imho. Detailed, thorough, original with the finger pointer and great from the user experience point of view. Set yourself further from other presentations and consider more in depth audio review for us audiophiles. Questions about the Frontier drivetrain: is it correct there is no cylinder disable and no auto start/stop? If that is true I am sold on this make and model.

Another selling point on the Frontier for me is the drive chain. I have a hard time wrapping my head around an interference engine that has a drive belt.
Very good review thank you
Awesome and indepth review
very good vid. thank you
Best midsize truck out right now IMO. Great review!
Great review
OMG!!!!! Your pointer just killed me!!
Thank you for your Very Thorough reviews! I am curious about your reflections on similar trucks, such as the Canyon, Colorado, etc. I wish you and your channel much success. Kindly, Graham.
I’m sorry to see you’ve lost the use of your hands. Thank you for your service :) Really Love the color and the design looks significantly better than previous designs from Susan
nice truck indeed
Love Nissan
The seat also has a lumbar support located between the seat & the console & they are memory foam which is pretty good in segment
GREAT JOB, ON VIDEO
Best overview I have seen! I’m a Tacoma driver, considering a Frontier. The primary driver of my consideration is price for features. This truck offers value and reliability. Thank you for the detail and objectivity!
I was settled with a 2024 ridgeline. Never mind, this is it
Great color!
The little finger caught me out of no where 😂😂😂😂 omg!
First, Thank you for this video! I own a 2018 Frontier Pro-4X. Did they improve the turning ration on the 2022? How does the towing capacity rate against the 2018?
Thanks for this awesome informative video. This is the one for me in my not too distant future. Will be pulling a very light weight RV with it. The combo will be called “George & Gracie”. 😃👍👏👏👏👏
This BEST DETAILED I ever watched!! Thank you very much! I've owned a 1989,1993,2005 Nissan truck rock! this will be my 4th Frontier . I hate the voice recognition, I bought my wife 2018 Rogue and I use the android auto and the best way to go when calling and doing a voice text. What is the best MPG you've saw? Thank you. Great video!!!!

if you hold the voice assist button on the steering wheel for a few seconds it will select siri or google assistant instead of the built in voice thing
bad azz mid siz truck. awesome
Just bought a 2022 Frontier SV and I LOVE it. I have the cloth interior. I noticed on the review vehicle the fit / finish of the leather seating surfaces is a little ill-fitting. Hopefully improved as more vehicles are churned out of the factory.
Tailgate lock is electric on my Pro4X.
Nice 👍
Each of those side steps are designed to be removable with 8 screws, leaving only the rail behind for offroading. It's actually a pretty good design that almost every reviewer misses about these side steps. Personally, I'd still skip them because I don't think side steps are necessary for this truck. I've been considering factory ordering one of these for a while, probably going to pull the trigger this fall.

@@mattbecham597 I will goto my speed shop and have them install a grab handle on the driver side like I had in my 2005 Frontier. I don't know why they took it out in the new Frontier and the previous year. What do you think Matt ?
I just test drove one today and the steering felt "odd" to me. It felt heavy and used more effort to turn. Of course I currently have a 2023 Prius and a 2019 Highlander Hybrid where the steering when I first purchased each of them, felt like a toy. No effort whatsoever but they were learning curves as well. Great video and you explained so much more than the salesperson did today.

Hydraulic steering. Super old school
Thank you for all info. Just bought 2024 Pro 4x. The video is on 22 do you have updated info for 24 watched this video a number of times.
I truly believe that the engine transmission chassis and frame and suspension are pretty much identical to the last generation Nissan frontier. A great way of saving money yet making it look brand new and that’s the reason why it rides and drives so nicely. Why change what works?
Couple more questions I didn't hear answered. Does this engine have cylinder deactivation and does the interior have an auxiliary cord Jack?
Excellent review on your Pro4x. Very through but you made no comment on a very important aspect of any vehicle. The brakes. Firm pedal? I ask because I previously owned a 2015 Frontier SV. I always had to pump my brakes two time to get a firm pedal. The dealer changed to brake fluid but still same. I hope they improved the brake feel on the 2022 Frontier. I'l be test driving one soon. Thanks!

@@MikesCarInfo Great! Thanks.
Bro listening to Amon Amarth! Great taste in music!!!!
So does the 2024 Nissan come with that black tubing in the rear? I wouldn’t want that because I would like to get a canopy or shell for the bed of the truck to store things in back.
Is the water pump on This truck mounted on the timing chain or is it belt driven this time.
I look to test drive 2023 24 soon. Any changes over years.? I would like to compare it to seating in a 2024 Toyota Tacoma.
Smol hands are the best
Broooo Amon Amarth. Play ittttt
Nissan should make a Rock Creek Titan and Frontier and then make they're Pro4X models more of a TRD Pro or AT4X competitor.
Are they going to release a version with a fake hood scoop?
Love this truck, in Canada this truck is $60 grand 2024 pricy yes but a great truck
Best complete review on the Frontier anywhere on KZread Thanks, Great Truck but needs rear A/C vents and ventilated seats for southern buyers
great video ! small problem here the payload indicates no more than 1020lbs but Nissan assures 1430 lbs? really weird
@MikesCarInfo

It could be weight of the ad-ons like skip plates, side steps, bed rails.
Thanks great review, Love this Truck BUT drove a Frontier and Ridgeline, Honda has much more interior space and a better ride Frontier is just too tight inside
Just picked up my 2023 Pro 4X recently, the cruise control is awful, any grade of hill it drops gears and hits 5000 rpms - not good at all. However, I do love the truck otherwise. I appreciate your real in depth review.
Just beautiful, everything is dern gd, except it needs 40 acres to turn this rig around But I’d still buy it,.. maybe better steering Nxt year
@brad4527
Жыл бұрын
They didn't change it, maybe in the half of 2023 Nissans.
😁👍🏼
The steps come off separately from rock rail
Can I buy it
05:10 The steps are removable, that was almost a deal breaker before the salesman showed me they can be removed with a Philips Screwdriver.
3:56 where did they place the license plate? It usually goes with a radar detector is.

what they don't have is a camera to see a trailer hitch .you won't have to keep getting out to look to see how far you are to the trailer .

@MikesCarInfo
Ай бұрын
You can rip them to MP3 files on using a computer then transfer them to your phone, usb drive, or any other backup media. It is a good idea to make backup CDs as well because some old factory made CDs can deteriorate over time.
I take the frontier Invest 3g upgrade with a small lift better tires
Good in-depth review. Having been in the Army, it does not look military green to me. Looks more like a forest green. Approach angle for side might be a bit better; however, overall approach angle is not that great due to the front end being low and, it is a truck. Same with the exit angle in the rear. And definitely those running boards with steps reduce overall clearance by about two inches. If on a serious trail, those have to be removed. Been told by a lady friend, the mirror needs a dimmer, more natural light for applying makeup. Never tried it, don't use makeup but I was informed of that years ago on a GM that had a dimmer light for the mirror. Infotainment system appears to be rather slow to react. Door locks...second push also unlocks the tail gate and it can be change to allow the first press (on the driver door) will unlock all doors and tailgate.
We need nissan frontier warrior R with gtr nismo engine and nismo aftermarket parts 5 inch lifted with 325/60R20 tyres

That is something only your dealer can negotiate with you. There are too many variables.
It’s always interesting and a little disconcerting to see what Nissan cheaps out on. Poor power seat controls ( why bother then??). No telescoping steering wheel etc. What kills me is that their customers have been asking them to bring back the grab handle of some sort on the driver side whether overhead or on the a pillar and they completely ignored that. AND YET. they put in radar cruise control which NO ONE I know will ever use.
Is the transmission and engine as reliable as Toyota? That's all I need to know!

I have a 2012 Nissan with a stick shift that is faster then this. I can get to 80 mph in seconds I would never get ride of it!!!
👈👆👉👇🤙
Very clever of Nissan to come up with the name 'Tactical Green' for what is clearly a military green, without being too 'military' for those that are offended by that.
I wouldn't waste time buying that truck. It just aint worth the disappointment down the line when putting it to the real test. I see too many zonk and red flags that would just make me more irritable down the line as I drive it more.
That engine sounds so good, Nissan is the only Japanese car I’ll buy….Honda and Toyota is just overrated nothing great about them.
Would rather get a Tacoma off road
