Thank you for taking the time to make this video. The visual helps me 300x more than reading articles or looking at a course map.

1st avenue was the toughest part for me. It was too wide and long (that's what she said) and you could see how much farther you had to run.

Is that Meb at exactly 22:34 in the video?!? Love this. Huge congrats to all that finished. I time qualified with a half marathon of 1:26 on the dot. But at the race I barely came in under 5 hours with muscle cramps for the entire 2nd half. Was the toughest mental race I have finished, and the most fun and rewarding race ever thanks to the amazing crowds in NYC.

Omg, it looks like him. I was so happy and exhausted that I couldn't register things. That's a great half marathon time. I passed out of a heatstroke after crossing the finish line at the Brooklyn half, so every time my heart rate was very high, I walked for 30 seconds or so to play it safe.

I don’t get why this is such a big deal, you don’t even have to run, but the finishers walk around for days afterwards with their medals acting like they just cured cancer, the attention seeking is so sad

you try running it first maybe then you'd realize how hard it is to push your body to run, RUN 26.1 miles on a warmer than average day or just in general
