[ English ] Wow, how big. The SAJB together with the three leaders of the legendary band "La Locomotora Negra", which said goodbye in January 2021, after 50 years active. Ricard Gili, Marc Trepat and Toni Gili were in it from the beginning to the end. The curious thing is that all three are amateur musicians: Ricard and Marc are architects and Toni is a high school teacher. I am especially fond of them because the first Jazz concert I attended in my life was theirs, at the now defunct Whiskey Jazz Club in Madrid. More than 45 years ago... And the Chamorro kids, always in constant renewal (I think this was the farewell concert for the Albas, after 13 years in the band) but always maintaining the very high level. Priceless work of the Master. To highlight one, the pianist Pau García, who reminds me more of Jan Domenech. Ah, Traver and Sauqué as super luxury guests, of course, with some memorable solos.

I have been quite impressed the pianist Pau Garcia - also here. He was playing in Jazzing 10 Festival this year in many concerts. Especially I was impressed his improvisations in "4 Saxs concert!" !! What a talent! Now I have learnt that he also plays saxophones! Being only 17 - as I was told - we can expect a great career to him,

Oh yeah--what a gem this is. Thanks to everyone on stage. Real blues, down and dirty! It really starts to "cook" at about 5:35 or so. Great band and great solos. Very enjoyable. Great teaching piece and great examples for those band members.

Where in another place can we find such a sequence of numerous great soloists and the sumptuous reed section sound?
