great review on the GLC 300

When I first was looking into MB TEX I thought I would prefer leather. But after doing some research, I found out why many Mercedes owners actually prefer MB TEX. It lasts longer and it looks better for far longer! Leather needs to be meticulously maintained over the long run or it will crack and wear. Leather also has a tendency to sag and not snap bac after a while.

That’s a fair point! Plus, most people won’t be able to tell the difference.

@@mercedesreviewsandmore8551 Non-Mercedes dealerships almost always call it "leather" in their descriptions. They are that fooled by it. Leather will last a long time, but it won't look good for a long time, unless you're really taking care of it.

@@jonothandoeserYes, I have noticed this occurrence on other used car sites. CarMax does do a good job at distinguishing this.

@@mercedesreviewsandmore8551 Yeah. I think sometimes the dealers even know the truth. But they don't want to say "imitation leather" because most imitation leather in inferior to actual leather. They might as well be saying "vinyl seats" as far as most people are concerned. But MB TEX is a very rare case where the artificial fabric is actually better than leather itself, in almost every way. But people are just so used to thinking of leather the best option that they don't understand. So it's easier for the salesman to just say leather even though they know that's not quite true.

Totally. And since MB cars can last a looong time, aged leather is saggy and hardened. This MB Tex looks showroom new year after year.

Do you think it worth waiting for new GLC 2023?

It depends. If you like the look of the old GLC I would recommend snatching one before all of the new ones are sold, unless you are fine with pre owned. If you want the latest and greatest from Mercedes-Benz then I would recommend waiting. If you can’t wait, and wouldn’t mind going down, I would recommend a C Class since both cars are eerily similar.

What type of trim lines and how many mpg on highway

The GLC can be had in the base trim (shown here), the 4matic or AWD, and a GLC43 AMG. There is also a GLC63 in the pre-facelift. The highway MPG is 27.

How do you work the navigation

The navigation should be integrated in the infotainment system and you can control it using the touch pad.

Try pressing the Navigation button under the climate control.
