Love the honesty: "if you handsome, naturally attractive you can pull off anything". Very true. And: "choosing a hairstyle that looks good on you". I guess too many men try out the hairstyles of "celebrities" that women drool over at the moment, and think they can pull it off.

Fellas, go with what gives YOU confidence and makes you feel the beat way about yourself, by opting for this you'll naturally radiate confidence and positive energy and by doing so the last thing anyone will be worried about is your hairstyle or clothing for that matter, energy trumps all so the feeling you create in people is what they'll remember you by and the impression you leave on them not your appearance, so the take away, focus on your social skills, they'll always trump your appearance

Also! Your hairstyle can look great on your head and compliment your face. But a girl finds your hairstyle unattractive. Don't change it for her. Your hairstyle can look great on you but a girl doesn't like it because it's not her type. That doesn't mean your hair is bad it means your hairstyle is not a girl's type but it looks good on your head and compliments your face. Keep it anyway.

“As a woman” I think you should wear whatever hairstyle you like and vibe with. If you’re trying to attract a partner the best thing you can do is be true to yourself, rock that mullet!! There will be plenty of people lining up at your door bc they vibe w you and your hair can be a big expression of who you’ll vibe with. These two women clearly aren’t very experimental judging by their own hair and clothes so if you want super traditional or super boring, never doing anything fun w your hair or clothes by all means take their advice but if your drawn to fun hair GET THE FUN HAIR!! You’ll attract a partner that enjoys similar things that way, be yourself, that’s what’s truly attractive. Sincerely, Also a woman

I currently have locs/dreadlocks, they suit me better and women seem to like it a lot more than when I had been cutting my hair. But for me, I don't really care I like it myself and for anyone else it is take it or leave it. It is a natural filter. I literally wake up in the morning, run my fingers through my hair to make sure they are all going the same direction and that is it... I keep them clean. No brushing or combing needed, retwist every 1.5 months or so. One thing I would like to note, I pay someone to retwist them and it is NOT cheap, but it is nice to take care of myself. Locs also distinguish me from EVERYONE else, I get compliments often. Finally being able to love my hair style has been a huge boost to confidence and self esteem.

To be honest, as a guy, the buzz cut is awesome. Up until last year I had the exact same cut every two weeks since I was a young teen... 2 guard on the sides and a 3 guard on the top. It's simple, insanely easy to maintain, and cool (by cool I'm referring to actual temperature). On a dare that morphed into a bet, I'm currently 11 months into an 18 month challenge of not cutting my hair... I absolutely hate it. The hair is always in my eyes, no matter what I do. For months now I'm randomly receiving jump scares from my own hair touching my neck or shoulders, or most recently the top of my back. December first of this year may very well be the most satisfying day of my adult life, because I will be chopping this mess off. On a positive note I have so much more respect and empathy for the women in my life. I truly never understood how long it takes to actually wash and dry hair.

@@7860092 it doesn't really matter if the girls find it awesome. If you're the type of guy that makes personal choices, for yourself, based on whether girls like it or not, then you're not really who girls are looking for. I only say that because I grew up with sisters and listened to them talk about guys both in school and later in life. This video is something you watch for fun, and as an okay that's cool type of thing. I assure you if either of these young ladies were single and they met you and thought you were "THE GUY" you could have any haircut on here and they would still like you. On the flip side, if they only see you as some guy, no haircut is really going to help you. Besides, like she said hair grows out... if you get in a long term, serious relationship and your girl brings up trying a different haircut you can always change it if you want to try something new.

Agreed. Here's another plus for shaving it off. If you can remain relatively healthy as you age (keep the weight reasonable, workout a bit), the bald thing makes you look younger. Look at anyone who fits the description.... they will likely look younger than they are. once you add thinning hair, it adds years.

As someone who's half bald due to having male pattern baldness and has tried different drugs to regrow the hair back and contemplated getting a hair system a few times - I've reached a point where I just don't really care about trying to get it back. I didn't like how I was feeling while being on those meds and also had really flaky dry scalp and itchiness from the rogaine too. That part of my life is closed for good and now I move on to the next chapter in my life. I'm choosing to shave whatever hair I have left and embrace the new look fully and work on improving my physique and mental health. I may even get SMP if I want the appearance of a close cut buzz look. I admit, I am luckier than some other people though. I look better without hair than with it. I've got the head shape to pull off the look and I've got very good beard genetics - think of Chris Hemsworth's beard pattern. Very similar to his. Just don't have his head of hair lol. Great video, Courtney!

I used to have a medium leghth crew cut, But a few months ago I burned the the top of my head in the shower (normal/same warm temperature I've always used). So I buzzed it with the the zero guard( sandpaper like length) I'm just way happier and I don't worry or stress about it like I used to. The pills, lotions, and transplant thing just isn't for me. Might look into SMP after college, I've done alot of research and found some great artist. I've been told I have a great shaped head, and the beard is finally starting to darken and fill. I have the messy quiff with the low fade. I swear my hair is as coarse as horse hair, so finding a style that worked for me was so hard because it either puffs up with lots of volume, or I have to slick it down with so much product that I look like a greaser. I ended up settling with the low fade quiff, because I just jump out of the shower, put a little product in my hair and brush it back, then let it dry on its own. Puffs up like it does in 6:10 and I have to do almost no work, so my weirdly coarse hair ended up being sort of a blessing lol.

My hair is 9” on the top and sides and 12” in the back, so I have somewhat of a mullet, but I’m planning on maybe trimming the top and sides slightly and growing out the back more because it’s just nice to have that V-Shape trailing down below my neck and still having regular-slightly longer medium length hair on the top. 9:50 If you grow that out for at least 8 months, it will be decent

Hi Courtney, I've been following your videos for a while and I've learnt a lot, in reference to your video about hairstyles.....my hair tends to be thick and a little bushy which makes it a little difficult to style in certain ways so I've always gotten it cut to a super zero for back and sides and light trim up top. This has worked for me but should I change it up or just keep the cut that works for me? Cheers :)

Active duty military so I have to keep a well groomed appearance. I go with a medium fade, 1 on the side and have her keep my sideburns, just even with the rest of the side. Then depending on how long the top is and thick I'll have it trimmed or just thinned out. I also get a hard part put in on the left so I can still style it and it looks nice, but definitely stick with the medium fade so its off my ears, in regulation, but the top is still lengthy enough to do something with it.

So Courtney, I've been watching quite a few of your videos lately just out of sheer curiosity and I find them fascinating. You look to be about mid-20's if I had to guess and here's the thing, I'm turning 40. So there's quite a bit of an age difference between us. At your age it seems that hair styles, specific amounts of facial hair, muscle build, choice in outfits, etc., are important when it comes to what women find attractive in a man. However when you get to my age, the importance of that diminishes. For instance I'm currently single, never married and no children. I've discovered over time that being extremely picky really does nothing for me. Actually all of the men I'm attracted to are in their 40's and in some cases close to their 50's. So the men I usually date don't go to the gym every day, in fact in a lot of cases they have dad bods lol. I'm totally okay with that! Also I come from the generation when being a totally romantic gentleman wasn't just appreciated, but expected. I absolutely love it when a guy has traditional even conservative values, as I also have those same core values. If the man I'm dating has a trendy hair style and outfit, honestly I wouldn't care at all. What's important to me is how I'm treated and if his morals, standards, and values are equal to mine. I'm looking for someone to eventually marry and settle down with, not someone that is just eye candy.

The Proverbs 31 Woman Who is the virtuous woman? The virtuous woman is certainly rare. Definitely not a common woman. She is a selfless woman. A woman of self sacrifice, unconditional love and grace. A woman who stands for righteousness and truth. A woman who has God's word hidden in her heart. A woman who worships God in spirit and in truth. And a woman with uncompromisingly high moral values. She is not proud, but humble. A woman of a kind and gentle spirit. She is quiet. Slow to speak, and quick to listen. Wisdom is her crown. And her countenance shines radiantly. Having a special glow. She is not highly excessive in regards to her appearance, ability and importance. To obnoxiously adorn herself with outward ordinances. She doesn't idolise herself because of her beauty. By constantly looking at how beautiful she is, and making it a primary objective and focus of how she should live, and value herself. But knows her worth is more than her beauty. Knowing It's about the inner person of the heart. Born of the Spirit. And strengthen through the Holy Spirit. To be and to live in the likeness of Christ. She sees beauty as fleeting. Something which not only changes over time, but something which fades away. She doesn't use her beauty to deceitfully charm to get what she wants. She is not a worldly woman that looks for its validation. For she already has the validation of God's loving assurance. She is a fulfilled woman. A woman of spiritual depthness and substance to her character. A woman who is content. Due to the drinking of the living water of Jesus Christ, where she will never thirst again. This is the virtuous woman. A blessing to her husband, children, household and community. She is really hard to find. For there are only a few of her kind.

When I was in high school and my family relocated to a place that I had lived when I was younger I felt very awkward about moving back there since I didn’t have a good image with a lot of other people that knew me before, but they hadn’t seen me in the last 2 years since I had been out of the country, then when I thought of the best way to change my image in a hurry so that I would seem like a completely different person from how anyone remembered me before the first thing that I thought of was changing my hairstyle, similar to a business rebranding themselves or a radio station changing their music format without changing their name, call letters, or any of their air staff. I had my hair in straight bangs ( which was still a popular hairstyle at the time, although the trend was dying out gradually). I went together a haircut 2 days before school started back in August. While I was at the Solon I saw a picture of an actor with wavy curly hair and told them that’s how I wanted to get my hair cut. They told me due to my hair being so naturally straight the only way they could do something like that on me was if they gave me a perm with a haircut. This was the 1st time I had ever done anything like this so I was like, “ fine ok.” Well my hair came out super frizzy curly instead of the way I asked for. I wasn’t sure how it would work for me do to the extreme change. Then I thought about what they said when I first commented in shock about it at the hair Solon. They said “if it didn’t come out really curly then the perm wouldn’t last very long thus being a waste of money. “ The way this translated to me in my head was “ if I didn’t have a drastically different change of appearance it wouldn’t get an immediate response from other people who used to know me before and hadn’t seen me in awhile, plus I could be like a new person here.” I always kept in mind that gradually over time I would gradually let the frizzy look less extreme and more like naturally curly hair instead like I originally intended it to be, but in the beginning this extreme look seemed like a good idea, then as I thought about this more something told me that girls at school would be more attracted to the curly hairstyle I had than my old look anyway, so that was a big bonus.thus being able to attract girls easier. Initially I got a very controversial response from people about the frizzy look, some people thought that “ it sucked and looked terrible “ while some people really liked it. I found that most of the people who liked it were girls at school, while people like my brother would complain about it and pick on me about it “telling me to change it again.” The same kind of response a radio station would get from their old audience anytime there’s a drastic change to their music format, when the old listeners would call and complain that the new format sucks and they want them to change back right away to their old format. However, I didn’t really have any old fans that I was going back to, my old fans from the year before didn’t live in the same place as me anymore. I had curly hair for about 2 more years then I tried to grow it out really long, shoulder length to get away from the extreme frizzy look, and the long hair didn’t fit my lifestyle, image, or personality but I left it long like that anyway for years before finally going back to the short curly hairstyle I had back in high school, ( this time around less extreme frizzy, and the easier curly style I was trying to go for the 1st time around) then after several years of that I ended up cutting it real short and spiky which is still my current hairstyle. It’s once again straight but completely different than the straight hair I had in bangs when I was younger.

I'm very lucky. I buzz my hair to skin with #4 on top and don't need to comb it. My hair leans left. Lived with that in the service.

I let mine grow to shoulder length and shaved about an inch above my ears to the back of my head. Kinda like Shawn Michaels. I put argan oil in it so it’s not frizzy and tie it back most of the time.

From my experience asking girls, weirdly enough mullet seems to be one of the most attractive hairstyles at the moment! 🤔

I have long hair and its all one length. Last year for Halloween, I combed it down in front and went to a party as a giant cousin it. Unfortunately, I do have locks sometimes because it curles more than both of yours. Generally I do wear it in a pony tail and it passes my shoulder blades. I also have a trimmed beard and mustache.

Hey I'm a girl watching because I wanna see if other girls agree with what I think 1:38 I usually think mullets look really good if they are subtle - if you look up 'kpop mullet' then I like most of those Maybe it is because those guys are pretty attractive anyway like they were mentioning but yeah I remember this one guy I knew, he was fairrrly good looking I guess, (he had dark brown hair with some blonde dyed in.) He got a mullet and everyone including me thought he looked great! I low-key had a crush for a while so, yeah! Obviously keep in mind this is just my own thoughts :)

Well, I've had shoulder length hair for about 4 years now. Haven't come across a woman that didn't like it honestly. The only ones that told me to cut sometimes were guy friends lol but apparently I look alot like Avan Jogia when he had long hair. One girl even said at random, "hey, you look like that dude from victorious" and that definitely wasn't a bad thing 😉😉 just go with what makes you feel confident and what you feel makes you look good

I'm sure guys would agree, the problem we have getting some of these cuts like Pompador and quif is that barbers can't use scissors, and other stylist are either gay or women , and the cuts look better from a barber if you just let it grow. A mid or low fade will grow more even than whatever a stylist does, and can be styled into a lot.
