Great comparison. I bought the 2022 GT Line in Panthera Metal with the Sun and Sound package and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Although the premium Harman Kardon system is a little lacking. It’s better than a basic system but when comparing to the premium Sound in my Dodge Durango it sounds tinny. Update: My wife noticed the dealership didn’t prep the car for sale. All of my speakers except a couple in front were covered in plastic. This caused the tinny sound. Now that the tape is off the sound is awesome.

I do own one and am thrilled to do so. So glad I didn't buy the German equivalent which would have cost me almost twice as much here in Australia

Here in Miami smh I just wish that the GT- Line came with or option the ventilated and heated seats because just the heated seats is really pointless here in Miami

@@kwamebrown6041 bruz I don’t know what world you live in but a 4.7 second 0-100 stock car is very fast. And a stinger is much less then a shitty BMW. Very under rated car I LOVE mine

I have a 2005 SAAB 9-5 amd its got the Harmon Kardon system in it too, not as many speakers as the stinger but still sounds amazing! I thought bose was an unbeatable car stereo but the Harmon system seems to be on par for sure

The GT-Line is a better deal than the 2.0t G70 prestige, more power and equally loaded but if you are getting the higher trims then the Genesis is the best choice.

Is the 2.5 stinger faster than accord 2.0?

I would go with the 4 cylinder get the better gas mileage put some down pipes & a Dyno tune & it would be close to as fast as the twin turbo if not faster. Obviously depending on how hot you run that tune

I'd take the 2022 200 HP 2.5L... much better mileage and weighs 300lbs less... =) They really improved the handling on the 2022 GT-Line's! They are.. and they aren't common either.. especially now it's rumored that Kia is stopping production of the Stinger 2022 2nd Quarter :P

Kia built two awesome cars gt stinger got beautiful blue color on it

The GT is worth it if you want to go fast, smoke most things on the road woth my AWD GT. Close off the line with a model 3LR when i use launch control.

I like both luxury and performance! So I went with stinger GT1. It's way faster than GT line. But GT line is still a sweet ride 😊

My dealer actually wants to buy back my K5 GT-Line lol. I am torn on this because I love my K5. However, if I got the chance to get a Stinger. Even if it's not the Scorpion Edition. Maybe even the lesser 2.5 L V-6. Since the twin turbo is well out of my price range. I might bite, but frankly, I am not as keen on the Stinger Bodystyle. At least on the base model. The interior is also while an upgrade somewhat. I am not a big fan of the retro styling. So I might just stick with my K-5. Would love to have both though at some point, just saying. :)

a good point to keep in mind is you can get a used 2018 gt1 or even gt2 for the same price as a 22 gt-line, in that case its a no brainer unless you want the extra range of the gt-line and what I presume is probably better reliability since not only is it newer albeit barely but its a smaller and less powerful engine.

It’s best to buy the 2018 stinger gt… a lot for sale for around 32k which is a steal

Unless you think you are a street racer dork, buy the GT Line, much better on gas and plenty fast for daily driving. Also you won't need a 2nd mortgage payment for the car. Remember, you gotta dump premium gas in these so it will cost you extra for all that foot stomping.

Wish I could have afforded the twin turbo... but the 2.5 L is no slouch.

Lack of options and feature packaging is the weakest point, unfortunately.

That metallic grey (I think it's the Panthera Metal) on the GT Line is nice. I'd have a tough time deciding between that color and the Ascot Green. I think the price may be getting a little too high and you'll have people cross-shopping Genesis

Genesis is the more premium car imo, but if you are into sport sedans then the stinger is the way to go.

13k worth if over the 2.5t? Arguable, but the 2.0t definitely. That being said, definitely better to get the GT CPO. I got my low mileage one for 29k

@Clark Kyle Kia stigma (even though it's closer to a Genesis G70 than any other Kia), and like any car, they hit a certain point and then don't depreciate as much. The first owner took the biggest hit, my car is still around the same value with the way cars went up in price and how the GT is more-rare and sought after. Look how bad the Mercedes C43 depreciates as well, except that car doesn't give you the warranty. My car's only slightly slower because it's not slightly lighter like the G70 and is bigger with the hatchback, but with mods, the Stinger is about as good as any M or AMG in straightline.

Gt2 is totally better. Suspension and agility from the engine. Torque is crucial and the gt2 pulls all the way through

In Australia, The top of the line GT is almost half the cost of a German equivalent specced car. I did the exercise before I bought my Stinger. Love it.

The base stinger is not worth the money. You can buy a turbo’d Mazda fully loaded for cheaper which is better In just about every way possible.

No the GT is quite a bit faster. You've got 68 more HP and 66 more ft. Lb of torque in the GT. I have a '22 GT 1. I'm telling you first hand
