This is the bike I have, same color too. Couldn’t bE happier with my choice. Love the power windscreen, lower for slower and up for higher speeds. The color changes with light, keeps growing on me. Rides and handles great.

It's true they have traveling tall. He makes good content but, he doesn't care about an Indian in any way. Kind of like most other KZreadrs they invite to their demo events. I love my Chieftain!!

It's definitely a legit alternative to buying a SG or RG. Competition is a good thing and forced the mfg to up their game.

It’s a little ride from Chattanooga but you can rent bikes from the Mall of Georgia Indian dealership. I’ve rented bikes multiple times to help me make a better decision on what to purchase. You can rent them for 8 hours all the way up to a week at a time. It’s definitely worth the trip if you’re looking into possibly buying one and or looking to do a semi-long term KZread review. You really get a feel for what the bike is like when you have multiple days with it.

@@TyFromTennessee no worries. Glad to help out. It’s always good to see non biased reviews of bikes that aren’t just “I like this but Harley blah blah blah” and vice versa. The motorcycle KZread scene needs more people that review the bike for what it is instead of a constant comparison to another brand. There’s nothing wrong with being a Harley guy, an Indian guy or Yamaha guy or whatever but if you can’t leave your brand loyalty out of it, why even review different brands. The fact that you can admit you’re a Harley guy but give other brands a fair shake without constantly bringing up the Harley equivalent/competitor is why I follow you and watch your videos. Keep up the good work!

I ended up with the Challenger but was going back and forth trying to decide. Never got to ride a Chieftain. Next Indian Ride day i will check one out. Wonder if they will ever put the 108 in a Chieftain?

​@@TyFromTennesseeThe closest Indian dealership is 90 minutes away from our house and the closest Harley dealership is 5 or 10 minutes. I'll stick with HD . I really like my 2003 Screemin Eagle roadking as well. I've had 4 new ultra classics and the roadking holds its own easily.

I noticed even with the elite trim for the chieftain still no heated grips

My favorit Indian is Springfield.

Definitely a nice bike, but as the owner of 2 HD CVO's, I don't know if it would be enough to win me over. I have a few concerns with Indian, one being lack of dealerships (only one in my state), and I am not crazy about the way the back of the bike looks to name a few... Thanks for the review as all info is valuable...

So something that has nothing to do with the bike and aesthetics…. I’d say that’s enough to go for it. Aesthetics can be changed and the dealership number is growing. To expect the company to have as many dealerships as Harley only 12 years after coming back is unrealistic. Plus you have two other bikes anyways. What’s wrong with having three in the garage. Just tell your wife it’s a loaner. Lol

Actually, as an Indian owner, I can tell you the Harley dealer experience sealed the deal for me to buy an Indian. Not going back. I own a Ducati and Yamaha also, so maybe I'm not your typical "fan boy" for anyone but I can tell you my experience with Indian dealer support has been great.
