I was upset that the gas door was push to open instead of having a latch inside the car, but now that u elaborated on that I now see that the push door is locked when the car is locked which makes me like it much more now. I'm having my morning coffee with Mike. Fantastic review and we get the bonus shots of the narrator's Ridgeline. I like the looks of the center stack. My biggest complaint is the location of the rear turn signals. When one is in traffic, trying to see turn signals that are low or near the back bumper is difficult. As always, I'm looking forward to the night review.

Absolutely the best car design and feature reviewer on youtube. You really set yourself apart from the other reviewers by comprehensively showing us every feature of the vehicle that you can. Keep up the great work Mike!

Mike this video taught me so much. I just purchased the 22 features were overwhelming because a new car since 06 and things have changed a lot. what I will enjoy the most is the camera telling me where the curves are I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ran over the curves thank you very much.

Great job on your overview of this vehicle. We traded in a 2017 Sonata Limited for the 2022 Tucson AWD limited. We were very satisfied with the Sonata, but wanted an AWD vehicle for travel. This Tucson is a beautiful vehicle; absolutely no complaints so far. We also had a 2013 Santa Fe, and with the design changes since then, the Tucson is every bit as roomy as the Santa Fe was.

I bought a limited one 3/27/21. Love it! Traded a 2018 Limited Tucson, which I was happy with, too.

I have bought a 2022 Tucson fwd and it is frisky... I love driving it.

Outstandingly good review. Honestly when you are going to buy a car (in COVID times) THIS is the level of detail you want to prepare yourself for the day you actually step into it to drive it. Otherwise you will spend the first hour .. well doing exactly what you did in this 1hr review. It says a lot about how well you did it that I dedicated an hour of my time to watching it uninterrupted. Thanks

I bought a 22 Tucson and love the car. Your video showing how to lock it without the fob is the first one I've seen. My SEL is a wonderful vehicle, love the driver's assist and the comfort. It's more comfortable than the Lincoln MKZ I was driving.

I think Hyundai went above and beyond with this new Tucson! I don't like how all the controls are touch capacitive but that's the only nitpick I have about it. I don't mind having the turn signals and reverse lights on the lower bumper. It gives the driver behind it a reason to stay further back to see them.

A very comprehensive coverage of the features for the Tucson. Probably the best on KZread. You cannot do much better than this. One minor suggestion: you might want to add extra details on the different trim levels, such as the hybrid and the PHEV when that is released. Very, very well done. Thank-you.

We just bought twin 2022’s one is limo black. Other is like graphite metallic (charcoal). Had the front windows tinted. Makes a big difference is look and also with sun

I’ve had my 2003 limited for a couple of months and I learned a couple of things I didn’t know (and I’ve read the manual cover to cover). I also noticed a couple of nice design touches in the video that I didn’t notice on my own- so great job on your review! Note: The diffuser redirects the air to the vents across the long trim on the passenger and driver side. A very nice feature.

I’ve been waiting for the new generation to come out because I think this might be what I upgrade to. However the low level lights at the rear of the vehicle I am absolutely not a fan of. I noticed that on a new Santa Fe I was following behind and I can see it being an issue for people who don’t pay attention as closely who are driving behind you, or even when you’re trying to reverse out of a parking lot. Also not a huge fan of the center console, I can already see myself obsessing over every finger print. Lol

Thanks for the review but donot you think Turbo and Hybrid works well in the long run? Rav4 has gained its reliability in hybrid vehicles. I am confused b/w Rav 4 2021 XSE & Tucson Hybrid 2022

Does the Tucson (or any of the Hyundai’s) have auto-lock after walk-away feature (like Honda) or do you have to remember to lock the doors each time ?

Those sharp creases on the side are pretty crazy. Hyundai seems to love to push the envelope with their new car design but then the look doesn't age very well. The front and rear look awesome to me though.

Nice job explaining the entire car, noticed a couple of quality problems however, ill fitting material on right front seat and back of left rear seat when in down position, I'll watch for those problems next week at the dealers, Thanks for sharing

Thank you for commenting on the quality of the seat fabric installation. I noticed that too. Will be looking for it when I test drive one.

p.s. I like the way the review began with the car reversing (underside view), it made me realise the transmission tunnel was missing a driveshaft (2WD version) ;-) but also gives you a quick look at the suspension setup, exhaust (otherwise not visible) etc. .. maybe its because Ive done a little work on cars, but I like to see "what's under the hood" too.

You can take the headrest off the rear seat, to get it to lay flat.

The design of this car is really nice and quite original. I’d love to buy a 2nd hand one here in Korea but they keep their value extremely close to brand new ones.
