Smartstream Diesel 1.6
The 1.6 CRDi Hyundai TUCSON produces maximum power of 136 PS and maximum torque of 320 Nm.
The 136 PS 1.6-litre CRDi 48V mild hybrid engine is equipped with a smooth-shifting 7-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT) and be selected in either four- or two-wheel drive variants.
Driving modes.
Choose from Normal, Eco or Sport. Each mode offers different acceleration, shift points and fuel efficiency.
Remote Engine Start
Remote Engine Start allows the owner to remotely warm up or cool down the vehicle using the new Tucson’s key fob on models equipped with Proximity Key and Push Button Start.
The most comprehensive safety package in its class:
▪ The all-new Tucson is outfitted with an enhanced seven-airbag system which features a new centre side airbag to prevent front passengers from colliding with one another
▪ Active safety and driving assistance includes Highway Driving Assist (HDA), Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM), and Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA), among others
▪ Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with car, pedestrian and cyclist protection has also been upgraded to include Junction Turning
Hyundai SmartSense safety features
The all-new Tucson is also equipped with the latest Hyundai SmartSense active safety and driving assistance features for even more assurance. New features include for example Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with Junction Turning, Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM), Highway Driving Assist (HDA), and Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA).
Four-wheel drive and Terrain Modes
The all-new Tucson consolidates its true SUV credentials with 4x4 capabilities. This is thanks to its new Terrain Mode selector, which provides even more enjoyment for drivers. This feature, available on the Tucson hybrid with automatic transmission, utilises Hyundai’s signature HTRAC four-wheel drive technology. This enables agile handling and better torque application depending on wheel grip and vehicle speed. In addition to different drive modes, three additional terrain modes - Mud, Sand and Snow - optimise the driving performance and HTRAC settings for an enhanced driving experience on a variety of terrain.

yeah you are absolutely right. when it comes to interior design and features, Tucson is far better than Toyota (Rav4) but Toyota is still very expensive.

I still love my 2017 Tucson. I bought it new mainly for cross country road trips to safe on gas. I haven’t been disappointed. It’s roomier then it looks. I just may have to trade it in for a new one

I own a Sportage Turbo Diesel 2021 and was convinced Gen. V would be the next in line. But Hyundai nailed it with this design which gets a much more superior look and presence!! Especially the tailgate LED STRIP between the clusters!!! KIA never learned to adopt this on any of their Sportage generations.... unbelievable.

The car is designed in an innovative way, which is why it arouses great interest in the world. The silhouette and interior differs from the cars produced so far.I wonder why the battery is from Varta and not from Korean? In my car Lacetti made in Korea there was a Korean battery and it lasted 16 years !!! And the one from Varta how long can he stand?
Maybe I'm old school but I'm not a fan of losing a gear shifter to push buttons as well as having knobs and dials replaced with touch action and sliders. Hyundai seems to follow the way of the Golf GTI Mark 8 which has garnered VW a lot of criticism from enthusiasts. In addition, I maintain that rear turn signals and backup lights belong in the upper lighting housing and not in the bumper below. Otherwise, the 2022 new Tucson is a smash hit, really! Just ask Peter Schreyer, he'll likely agree and/or should. That goes for the stunning new 2022 KIA Sportage. Please don't mess up a good thing. Thank you.

Yeah! The gear shift and entertainment system’s controls are not my thing. The rear turn signals don’t bother me. Beautiful car.

@@sisenor4091 You are correct, the rear turn signals don't "bother" the driver per se. But it may bother the car behind you (and the next one, too) as they won't see your intention in time to adjust their own driving (such as braking or changing lane). This may cause an avoidable mishap. That is why long ago car makers included the centre high mounted third stop light or CHMSL. Seems KIA and Hyundai ignore this simple safety measure, perhaps just to satisfy the designer's alter ego and/or not to deviate too much from his or her initial design concept. Personally, I'm a believer in the principle of design, which states - "Form Follows Function". In my interpretation, it not only applies to industrial architecture but to all of man's creations worthy of mention. I wouldn't be surprised if the US government may regulate this requirement in the future as they did for the CHMSL.

2022 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate Hybrid here in Canada did not include the ISG button to disable the (Stop and go) feature, I don't know why they call it Ultimate. I'm so disappointed.

I’m not sure exactly what you meant. They are being sold in Mexico 🇲🇽, United States 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦. However, that is a common complaint.
You buy it expensive and you come to sell it after 4 or five years and you find it has a big difference in price

I have nothings against this car or any other Korean car…. But is no one gunna mentioned the interior is identical to a Merc…..
Je viens d'acheter un Hyundai Tucson et je suis très déçu du service de Hyundai au Maroc ( agence Kenitra ) . La voiture m'a été remise sans contrôle complet et avec un défaut. Il y a un problème avec 1 pneu depuis la collecte, malgré la visite immédiate du concessionnaire et l'appel de son bureau 2 semaines plus tard, il n'est pas résolu. Le concessionnaire n'a pas fait de vérification du véhicule, donc la voiture est venue avec un défaut qu'ils auraient dû trouver avant de me le remettre. Ce n'est pas le service que j'attends ou qui m'a été promis par Hyundai surtout lors de l'achat d'une voiture premium. Très mauvais service.
