2022 Husqvarna FC350 TESTED - Motocross Action Magazine

Спорт

#motocross #dirtbike #outdoors #motorcycle
The 2022 Husqvarna FC350 was delivered to the Motocross Action Wrecking Crew, shot in the studio, and loaded out to the track for a full day of testing. Husqvarna has recently been known for its lowered suspension on their 250,350, and 450 models to the front and rear of the motorcycle. This gives a more planted feel while riding. The Husqvarna FC250 and FC450 won Motocross Action's 2021 Shootouts just several months ago. Husqvarna has made some changes for 2022 that might surprise you! We break down all the details, give you some feedback, and show you some tricks if you end up purchasing an Austrian brand motorcycle in the near future.

Have a 2021 FX350 and it is by far the best bike I've owned over the last 40 years. Go up a tooth in the back, put 7oz weights on the clutch and now it works great on moto and in the woods. Great bikes!

Does the FE350 have that already ?? I just put some coin down for a 21 FE350 Rockstar Edition myself... In Australia we get the unplugged versions... I've only ever had MX bikes since I was 9years old Now that I'm not racing MX anymore and on the wrong side of 40 I wanted a road legal dirt bike, so I went with the FE... Waiting for this bike is killing me 😟 The 350 just seems like the best decision that I've ever made when it comes to engine size on a bike... Not too hot... Not too cold... But just right !! 😃

@@scottyd2262 The FE will be stoved up with street compliance additions, such as smog equipment. Not sure of the gearing. I also have an FE501, I'm 55, been riding since I was 9 and these bikes are great for folks like us. I can do moto (playing) on either bike, but the 501 is my street/dirt solution whereas the 350 is a fun little rocket ship that does great in woods, GP and moto. Strictly off-road.

I’m really considering purchasing the 350 as my next bike I’m just a weekend warrior “vet” rider I’m only 26 but work full time so not as much time on bike as some people. My biggest worry is wil I like the air forks because I’ve been riding Yamahas for a long time I’m currently on a 2020 yz250f. If anyone has any input for me I’d greatly appreciate it

I'm on a 21 350sxf, from a 17. But I also owned a 19 yz250f at the same time as the 17. The 21+ wp forks are amazing, the kybs are a hair plusher at the bottom of the stroke but that's about it, and there is far more to a bike than forks. That Yamaha was so rigid heavy and wide, sluggish heavy steering and pushed through the turns, also had terrible ergonomics. Side by side there is no comparison, Yamahas look and ride like Lego blocks, they look alot cheaper. My comparison is a ktm/husq is a Ferrari and a Yamahas a Corvette. Both fast as duck but the Ferrari is a far more premium, beautiful, and a better handling machine. And you'll pay for that

@@Runk3lsmcdougal yea I agree there is far more to a bike than forks I’ve just always enjoyed how plush Yamahas are. One thing I will say is I would like to have a bike that corners better. I’ve had my yz suspension fully done by race tech and it is for sure great but my problem is I don’t have anything else to compare it to besides my 2014 yz250f. I haven’t rode a ktm or husky or any of the newer model bikes ever. I wish there was a way to get to ride a few different bikes back to back before buying lol

@@Tyler.56 I had both at the same time and the KTM far out corners the Yamaha. And you could literally drop in kyb internals but you'd be adding 3lbs to your front end, the Aer,48s are sick, virtually bottomless and adjustable.

Buy the 350 you WILL NOT regret it. I'm 37. Best bike I've ridden. Handles on rails (keep an eye on fork pressure). My dad has a 2019 yz250f... rode my 2022 350... went and bought the 350. Gears are stretched way further than on the Yamaha. Suspension is almost as good. Much more usable power.

  • @jonathondavis170

Test ride one and you will surely find out - it is a blast to ride! Imagine for a second, a lighter 450 with power all the way through the rev range, and much more over-rev (which is the most fun part of it all). The engine inertia gives the bike a playful and flickable character, but still can put the horsies down to the ground. Look at Kaleb Russell in GNCC beating everyone on the 350 XC-F...it's a beast of a bike! Downside is stock suspension though...haha - I'm spring fork kind of man.
