You should be compering the cbr 600rr 2022 not the 650, that 650 isn't meant for racing it was made for sports touring.

The 650r is a plain sports bike, its just not a supersport. Look at what are actual sport tourings and you'll notice a huge difference. it also performed really well against the zx6r, there´s not that big of a difference in top speed.

Totally different machines built for different purposes. But I like the comparison either way

Both are fast and quick off the line and powered by Inline 4 engine. Honda is less powerful but more comfortable for longer rides. Kawasaki is more powerful but has a more aggressive riding position which makes it ideal for track and canyon carving yet uncomfortable after 1 hour of riding. Given the choice I'd take the CBR 650R. More relaxed riding position with more than enough power to have fun with.

That is not CBR 600rr.. Comparison should be zx6r vs cbr600rr.. 650r is a sports Toured bike... And 600rr is pure sports bike ... And CBR 600rr can easily eat zx6r any day

cbr650r revs max 12.000 rpm while the zx6 ~15.500, so technically they have the same power but the cbr is limited

It's all about what is available A hungry man will eat what is available not what was available in his childhood

Not a fair comparison but the cbr i would say better than ninja 650 since it has twin cylinders.

Actually a very useful comparison between a 650 and a sports "600".

cbr650r rider change gear (1 to 2) little bit earlier than it should be.

The Honda is much cheaper and comfortable. A win for me.

@@goter9teciThere’s lots of videos with it going 155+. I contacted Honda before I bought mine. They said in the areas where they have to put a “speed limiter” for regulatory reasons they put it at 149 mph - so Honda expects it to go faster than that😳.

Ive tested both. The honda is not even CLOSE to the 636. And thats not even counting the. better brakes, suspension and chassis.

If you dont plan on going to a track and want a very well rounded bike, pick the honda. You can do sporty riding, city riding, commuting, touring... very easily. If you do plan on going to a track or enjoy very aggressive riding, the 636 is FAR more capable: better brakes, better suspension, MUCH more powerful engine. @@nesto9889

cbr 650 max speed is around 240kmh, and the zx6r of the video is the new, who has lower top speed, zx6r 2006 or 2007 is the model who reach a incredible top speed of 280 or near

The CBR650R have not 260km/h Topspeed, 242 km/h by 12'500 rpm woult be maximum but in the Gear 6 have only 11'800 rpm, that is 234 km/h The CBR650 is a Sporttouring Bike and Gear 6 is limited by the Ignitiontiming and the Geartransmission. Only the Dashboard will shows 8% to much. 1,69x2,8x1,214x1979mmx12'500rpm = 242 km/h In this Video, you see how much RPM If not belive my Transmission Calculate, control it by GPS and you will see.

​@No_Name that's insane.... The CBR650R produces like 30hp more with 2 more cylinders. I would say this comparison is way more fair than let's say: a Ninja 650 vs a cbr650r. a cbr500r would be a better competitor to the Ninja 650.

@No_Name True, so Kawasaki just doesn't really have a direct competitor to the CBR650R. But I would say the Ninja 650 is a cbr500r competitor since they have a closer power output and both have 2 cylinder engines. But the Ninja 650 would be in between the cbr500r and the cbr650r in terms of real world performance.
