Very interesting and well done video Paul. If you ever needed extra light one day, a 20-inch light bar wouldn't restrict airflow too much. I have one and have needed it a few times.

Excellent review, and amazing set up you have! I watched because I have just bought the 2024 Hilux but not received it yet while they are doing the mods and add ons to it I want. Disappointing about the traction control issue this is something Toyota badly need to fix. Seems rather stupid that when off road which is when you could arguably need traction control the most, you have to turn it off, or face a possible $180.00 repair bill. Very surprised a supposedly quality brand like Toyota has such a bug in the system. Maybe it has already been fixed, guess I will soon find out!

Thank you for your kind words. Yes it is annoying and the fact the PCS comes back on when you switch off is even more annoying. Just check when you do your handover if it’s been resolved but I’m guessing it hasn’t.

the magnets can sweat and cause your paint to bubble on really hot days if left on too long, you can sprinkle talcum powder on the underside to keep it dry

If they are on for more than two days I just peel them back and wipe with a cloth. Had them on for 10 days over new years in high temperatures and didn’t have any issues 👍

Hi Paul, did you try and hold the TRC button down for more than 5 seconds to see if the PCS turns off, as you said in the video Toyota said hold it down for 10-15 secs. Just wondering if holding it down for longer may turn PCS off also.

Hi, yes I did I hold it down for 10-15 seconds regardless but I only did that in the video just to show what happens as it’s the same result 👍

@@perth4b4adventures thanks for getting back to me Paul so quick, I'll have to let my Brother know about how to turn it off the way you did. Thanks again.

@@perth4b4adventuresdunno about that our 2019 200 has had the engine out many dpf issues I’ll never buy a modern diesel far to unreliable

Yeah different motor though. The new 2.8 is tuned up with a little bit more power and torque and has no DPF issues. The 200’s have had a few issues with dusting too so each to there own I guess 👍
