I have the same bike. Pealed the tank emblems off and installed black / orange CVO emblems. Looks better IMO. Bolted on some 4” Rineharts. No need for a tuner. Gave it a little sound and didn’t ruin that sweet torque curve. LED turn signals are next. Great review!👍

Just bought this same bike 2 days ago. My 2nd RG (2012) decided to get a new one while at Myrtle Beach vacationing. I can’t emphasize how great this motor is. I’m doing break in but it’s such a powerful , torque pump that blew the 103 on my 12 away.

Same here. 103 to a 114 is awesome.

Looks just like my 18 CVO RG. Only difference is the color matched inner fairing the 21' wheel and a couple other things. Most wont even realize it's a CVO anymore. Real number harley did on us

A note for people concerned about the turn signals... It took me maybe 2 days to get used to the double signal switches, coming from a Vstar.

I know people go crazy about this color but I am not a fan of a bike that looks like it was sent out in primer.

Really enjoy your channel! I couldn’t agree more about the front turn signals, especially as all the other lights on the bike are LED. I’m also with you on including docking hardware as standard on the touring bikes. Given how much these bikes cost, it’s not a big ask.

No LED turn signals & 70’s cable clutch technology? Ugh 😑! So much more happier with my hydraulic clutch & custom dynamics LEDs 2020 RGS! I find it amazing that after buying a new bike I had to spend $200 on custom dynamics LED turn signals! I absolutely Luv the stretched bags on my RGS ! I added a Stage 2 Torque Cam to mine 128 RWT .

Your local dealer can look in a data base and see what dealers still have that bike. If it's close enough they should be able to get it for you as long as the dealer with the bike likes them.

Just bought mine cant wait to pick it up next week. Haven't road it or seen it in person yet as I'm at work over in Dakar Africa. However I was able to make a deal with Mississippi Gulf Coast Harley Davidson over the phone. Once we got on the same page the sale experience was easy. Cant wait to see how I'm treated when I fly into Gulfport to take delivery of this awesome machine.

It's the 21st century... All the lights on the whole line should be LED... Most other manufacturers have figured it out... You really want Japan to keep out-teching you at the most basic level, Harley? C'mon.

Love the color. Just like you, with the black finish, it is perfect. I am more of a Street Glide guy. I own a Limited and have the quick release for my tour pack. When my wife isn’t riding with me, I go without the tour pack most of the time. So, I’m a Street Glide guy. I’m shorter than you, by a couple of inches. I like the screen being closer to me so I can type in addresses, etc… when I need them. I like the batwing look. However, I do like the added storage of the shark nose. I also like the stock bars better on the Road Glide over the stock bars on my Limited. The thing is everybody changes bars.

Great looking bike, but I'm still happy with my '19 King, especially after all the mods I did to it.

I got the same bike in reef blue vivid black. The blue black combo is the best color of 2022 IMO Looks like a CVO but it’s a special. Will be posting a video on it

I'm a fan of the stretched bags, just wish they would line the middle of the exhaust up with the middle of the space between the bag and body. I know there's things you can do to line it up but Harley's so good at fit and finish everywhere else I'm surprised they don't match the exhaust better to that space....Thanks again for the review and keep them going...maybe...LOL!! Just wait until Wednesday/ Harley still has something up their sleeve... all I can say for now but I've seen it and its good..

I prefer the hydraulic clutch too. It's self adjusting so you never need to mess with it besides flushing the line every few years. I'd hate to go back to cable after riding a KTM (brembo hydraulic) for several years

They’re not even halogen. They’re are just plain incandescent bulbs! I swapped the bulbs in my Low Rider with LEDs from Rogue Rider Industries. I am with you. If you’re paying a premium price for a bike you should get premium features. I like the stretch bags. The standard base reminds me of old fashioned high water pants.

Hahaha I'll never be able to look at bags the same again! I like the performance bagger look and they all run the bags super high so I guess it appeals to me because of that.

@09:10 Soft lowers work nicer on bigger engine guards plus you can transfer from your other bike instead of buying for two.

Yeah that color is the new hot color across even the automobile world. I say it looks like all the colors of Play-Doh smashed together lol and It's called Sonic gray pearl on my Honda

I’m at this crossroads I’m 6’5” 38x34 jeans size and will be selling my custom wrapped pan am for either the street glide or road glide I have ridden the road glide it’s comfy but I want something kinda sporty. Never ridden a street, going to today. I guess my question is can I make the street fit me comfortably without spending a ton of cash? I know there’s seats that sit back and bars, but I sold my 20 fat bob because I felt like it was a little small for me. Will I always look like Magilla the gorilla on the street?

Cable clutch is hard to adjust! My 21 Road Glide Limited in 5,000 miles have had to adjust the clutch 3 times!

Try using a solid one piece clutch cable vs the 2 piece that comes on there .. you’ll have to obviously change the hole cable but it can be adjusted like the older twin cam bikes

Love the bike, the colour, how it looks "wet", although I do think some contrasting accents, such as a black with orange or red border tank emblem (a la the CVO's) would make it "pop" more. "Gunship Grey" looks much better in the sun. Hate the bars (why do Harley insist on putting the worst bars on their bikes?), the turn signals, I agree with the reviewer, LED's should be standard on ALL motorcycles these days, and the wheels. Those wheels just look out of place on a FLH bike.

What's the approximate monthly payment with about $6k down? 60 or 72 month term with good credit

It is. They put it on a LOT of bikes this year. Hope they didn't over do it.

I like the ST model but I wish they would have went with the bigger 128/132 m8. I kind of feel like they dropped it there. Thoughts ? P.s. great content/channel

@@throttleblip9854 I appreciate your channel. On my 2021 Road Glide Limited, there’s LED’s in the headlight, dash lights, and tourpack lights. But they have to leave the taillight and front turn signals halogen. Cutting cost is a BS excuse. The reason those bulbs are halogen is because they are easy for the buyer to replace with the not-so-cheap lighting accessories Harley sells. How does the cost of three bulb lights make a difference on a $32k bike? Don’t even get me started on the missing heel shifter; a staple on every softail and glide I’ve previously owned.

For the lights, i don't see them making much from riders upgrading the lights. I think most get custom dynamics or something other than Harley's lights. Hell, my sales person recommended i not get Harley's lights and said just pay a little extra for custom dynamics, they're worth it.

The new valve stems are a 90 degree sweep.

The CVOs should have had the 131's... :D But the 114's have a redonkulous amount of torque :D Very fast to get to the "You're going to jail son" speeds.

Prefer the standard bags for the same reason, love 2:1s. I’m on the fence on that gray, need to actually see one - and I’m more of a batwing fan too. I think HD is doing a lot of good thinks across the board, I’m betting on them having a really good year!

Harley Davidson is far superior on turn signals, self canceling unlike my old Vulcan Those lower air vents (nostrils) ability to close was prior to 2020.. not exactly sure what year

I prefer the batwing fairing on my Electraglide Limited. Like that everything is closer to the rider.

I prefer the Street Glide over the Road Glide but I’m a Road King Special guy so y’all have at it on the debate.

I like the bigger engine guard. Gives you the opportunity to put some lowers on it. Comes in handy if you are really touring with it. IMO.

Yeah I wish they would make a lower that works with the new style. That’s something a lot of people would use.

Glad you mentioned that.Harley doesn't give a rats ass.They continuously put Chrome over the blacked out bikes.Chrome Jiffy,Chrome accents around every single Guage.Chrome accents on Rider and Passenger floorboards and pegs.Chrome fins on cylinder.Chrome Tappet covers,Chrome pushrod covers,Chrome levers for Saddlebags the list goes on.Straight bullshit!We ride Motorcycles and drive cars.

I think its a road glide standard for me. In white.

I'm with you on the standard bags. It's the side view of the stretch bags that bothers me. The slope on the bottom line looks like they are falling off. Prefer the rhombus shape of the standards.

I rode the '21 CVO. I will respectfully disagree... That RG does absolutely need the 117 (or more). The 117 on the CVO is a kick in the pants. I forgot I was on a bagger when I cracked that thing open.

Yeah I think its about 8 more tq. Same as a full stage 1 would give you which is why I encourage everyone to do at least that. It's nice to have for sure but it's a want. The bike makes great power out of the box. Guys like us may not be "happy" with it but thats because it's not as powerful as what we normally ride.

Just get the ST model then u get the 117 and standard bags

Hydraulic clutches will eventually fail, like all mechanical parts do, and a cable is way cheaper and easier to change. Especially on the road

Found RG much better steering and handling and better at speed than SG

I have to disagree. I’ve seen that color in person. I ordered the two tone reef blue and black in chrome trim. I have old school tastes and the blacked out look just doesn’t do it for me. I also told them to stage two it with the torque cam before I leave with it. I think the reef blue/black color is the color combo of the model year. But that’s my opinion.

RG just got paint changes this year.

Harley ripping off everybody for the blacked out look check this out you pay $2,000 more for the black out instead of the chrome bike ? but if you look at the parts catalog the black parts cost the same as the chrome parts ? so why does Hd charge $2,000 more . so a fine example is this you and a buddy go to a dealer and you want the gray and black and he wants the gray and chrome why should you pay $2,000 more. only answer I get from the many dealers I've run that by is the popularity of the blackout ? ?? wtf
