Good job Ben. The Godzilla F-250 is exactly what I'm looking for. The diesel is just too expensive ($10,000 plus) to buy, and then maintain (diesel mechanics earn good money and deserve it). Diesel parts are always more expensive than gas. It takes forever to recoup the extra cost in mpg savings. 2,500 lbs. max cargo and 14,000 lbs. max tow are just about perfect for a mid-profile 5thW. Now, if I can qualify for financing...

I absolutely love mine!!! The infotainment screen is amazing.

I use mine as a daily driver. Love the motor. I added a 5 star tuner, 3" Carli level and 37s and she sits about 1" taller than the stock Tremor and rides way better. Perfect truck, tows my boats and trailer with ease and at 14k pounds I dont miss my diesel, def fluid, higher pump prices, expensive oil changes and filters....I just know when I trade in it will be about 10k less then a Powerstroke which I already saved upfront.

Why buy a tremor if you’re going to put a Carli setup on it? Just start with regular suspension since you’re going to rework it anyway.

@@slidewide1999 Thats exactly what i did. I didnt even get the FX4 package. What you get with the Tremor is 18"' vs the 20's I have. The advantage is the 18's will yield a softer ride. There also is no rear sway bar for better articulation. The running boards are different and it comes with a 2" air dam, fender flairs and a locker on the front diff.

@@slidewide1999 I’m think of going with a Ford next time around. Is there another way to get 4.30 gears from factory than the Tremor? I have 37s now on my Ram with 3.73 but the Cummins I noticed no difference from 35s. If I go gas in the future I wouldn’t mind the lower gears for big tires.

Ford should add the folding center console for the table that's in the F150 since basically the Super Duty has a column shifter

@@dutchynehtam yeah the Super Duty looks awesome the one thing I wish Ford did was add the 7.2 kilowatt on board power I know it has something like that but not as much as the F-150 PowerBoost

I chose the Godzilla over the powerstroke. Diesels cost too much to run and maintain. I have had my 2022 since October, and love it. My plan is to make this truck my final vehicle.

@@johndohart895 reliability was not my only concern. This truck is my everyday driver. I was not interested in def, added oil change costs, more expensive parts, more expensive rate for repairs etc. Add in the fact that fuel is 50 cents cheaper per gallon. I would never get the 10k back.

Driving a deleted 6.7 F250 now…just rolled 150K. My next truck will be a 2023 F250/350 Godzilla Tremor. Going to keep the truck 10-15 years minimum and long term diesel reliability with the emissions stuff leaves a lot to be desired.

Amen ! I drove diesels and loved them until the '08 changes. Used to trade them every other year until then and still have a 6.0 ford and a Dodge. The '07 GMC is one I wish I had kept, that is until my 2021 Tremor with the 7.3 showed up a year ago. I love it, that big Lincoln in Overalls! The Lariat offers all the bits you could want. The slower you go, the less gas you buy. There is about 1,300 pounds of stuff in the bed right now and I get 16.6 mpg at 65 mph. Drive 75 and it sucks fuel, about 13-14 mpg (again with the bed loaded). The power is there at low rpm, the front limited slip diff turns it into a tractor. I have had many cars and trucks. This is my favorite truck ever and it is almost as comfortable as my '06 Jaguar XJL was. When you order, keep in mind that the F250 and F350 Tremors are the same, only the badge differs (look at a non-Tremor F350 rear spring pack, they are identical).

This is still one of the best looking trims of the f250 on the roads today, looks sharps and performs well from what I’ve seen on reviews so far

When a 150 and 250 Tremor are priced equally you know this market is just stupid!

Man what a beast of a truck but I wish they pulled more horsepower out of this engine. Seems like ford held back on the horsepower when this engine could easily put out well over 600hp. Great review!!

Tuners are getting 1k hp with stock camshaft and pistons. Of course the superchargers being used to achieve that reduce mpg to around 3, so there is a trade off. 😜

You can supercharge it and get close to 800hp on it. Dust TRX while looking better and towing more.

I have the same truck in the 6.7. Mine has the lariat ultimate package. I didn’t even know you can get that jump seat in the front… I thought about the 7.3 but no regrets on the diesel… Tows like a dream.

Those are definitely nice, is your emissions deleted? I would certainly spend the extra money on the 6.7 if I knew that it was possible to stop it from being absolutely choked by the EPA.

I have a F250 Tremor, 7.3 lariat ultimate and the payload is just shy of 2,900. But they have the same spring pack as a f350 and I’ve had well over 2k in the back and didn’t even touch the helper spring! They are pretty strong. Hope this helps🤘

I don’t understand why the super duty’s don’t have the power outlets in the back or the available generator feature like the f150 has, I know it’s the hybrid combo but I’m sure it could do it if the truck was running. A lot of these trucks are on the job sites it would just make sense to have the available

When are they going to put the newer interior in the heavy duties?

You can’t trust the Computer. I have a 6.7 F550 with about 100K on it. The dash says I’m averaging 20 MPG, but doing Manual Computation (I keep a Log Book) it’s actually closer to 16-17 MPG on average.

Beautiful Truck but for 70k and whatever the dealer markup is on top of that, I would expect push button start and surround view camera in a Lariat Trim. I do like that its optioned with the LED lights though.

My boss has a Power Wagon. He loves it, but he had to down size his camping trailer because the 10k lb trailer was pushing him all over the road. He was forced to compromise for better stability. He would not trade that truck for anything though. Like I started with, he loves it!

No one buys a 3/4 and above to off road. The most you can do in your Heavy truck can be done in 2wd with a taco or ranger. Too wide for real trails that aren’t dirt roads too. I’ll take the tons more payload and towing from the ford….ram payload is embarrassing

7.3L GODZILLA Emblem Decals Badges... Finally found a company making 6 different Styles They have them for the Doors and Tailgate Found them on Ebay under 7.3L GODZILLA DECALS Badges

We now have three ambulances with the 7.3 motor, one with 6.2, one diesel that is very old. The has 6.2 can barely keep speed on the highway. The 7.3 has a lot of power and can move fast and strong. The diesel still out performs them both. More power and much better full economy. The gas ambulances we have to fill up two or three times a day at a staggering cost. The diesel we can drive all day and all night and only use a half to three quarters fuel. The diesel is much better, stronger, fuel economy, and over all performance. All of us would rather drive the old truck rather than the new.

Great video, great information, but can you show what the truck can really pull/handle? Vlogers seem to push the 7.3L Godzilla engine from 0 to 6 seconds. I think, salesmen/dealerships should use one of their trucks, especially on KZread Vlogs, as a demo of what it can really pull/carry in real time. With all respect, talk about the truck specs for the first 3 minutes, and then 5 minutes of what the truck can do.

How is the ride quality?

Thought Tremor 250s had a 10,800 GVWR.

I have a 2022 silver Lariat f250 tremor 7.3 liter, ultimate pkg, lariat pkg, color matching front grill, led light, uplifted switches, sunroof, marker lights on the roof, line x spray in liner, 5th wheel prep pkg,roll no lock bed cover, weather tech floor mats, with only 3,500 miles I am thinking about selling in Nashville TN. Title in hand

Can someone explain to me the advantage this engine has over the 6.7 turbo diesel? I can't seem to figure it out on my main, compared to MPG/ HP/Torque

You really can't compare the two. If you tow pretty frequently like a fifth wheel or heavy payload go diesel. I bought it for the price difference. But I tow a 34ft bumper pull toy hauler that is about 15ft tall. And when I get in a head wind I sure wish I had gone diesel. Running around town I'm getting about 11.5 mpg. With the camper about 7 mpg.

Thanks for your input, just seems like for half the torque and half the mpg the 7.3 isn't really all that great. On paper at least.

But I could have not gotten the black out and tremor package and gotten the diesel. Live and learn. I may wait for the 23s and order another one. All orders are stopped till 2023 anyway.

Really, the only advantage is the 7.3 is cheaper. The 6.7 diesel gets better mpg, typically runs much longer and has way more power. I have the F250 6.7 Tremor. The 6.7 spoils you.

Those windows need tint! I believe no vehicle should be without them in the summer!

There is no comparison. The Raptor is built to be an off roader. The Superduty with the Tremor package is a cobbled together truck that gives you neither great off road performance, nor great hauling performance.

@@roywall8169 #1 there isn't a single pick up truck designed as an off roader. They are all built as a pick up first and foremost. So your point is idiotic at best #2 you don't know much about the tremor. The towing and payload is BARELY affected by the package and the suspension. You are thinking of the power wagon. The power wagon has reduced towing and payload. And even still having heavy duty brakes and other suspension components is important if you want to do both. It will still hold up better than a half ton over time and that's just a fact.

I do not understand the Tremor package on a Superduty. They are designed to drag heavy objects and carry heavy loads, not to race in baja fashion. 🤷‍♂️

Its exactly how I ordered mine except I have the power running boards. I love the truck until I get over 12k lbs. Not a fan then. But otherwise I love it.

Why do you guys in America always do the 250’s?? Here in Canada we have to pay a “luxury vehicle tax” on the 3/4 ton trucks but not on the 1 ton, so everyone always gets the 350/3500

I don't have the Tremor but I have a 2021 F250 XLT FX4 Godzilla and I carry a slide in truck camper loaded 3,100 lbs. I get between 9.4 - 9.8 mpg fully loaded. City empty 14 mpg. Highway empty (65 mph) 18 mpg. I have actually seen 20 mpg on the highway for over 40 miles at a time if I stay around 60 mph with the right conditions (not down hill. LOL.). There is no need for the diesel. This truck has an abundance of power. I can climb any steep grade mountain pass, fully loaded, as fast as I want and increase my speed at will on those grades. I get these numbers with a lead foot. I don't baby this truck when I drive so someone with more conservative driving habits could do even better.

How long do we have to beg ford to come out with a c8 killer with this application or a 4 door mustang 427 to give the charger 392 a run for its money. I guess never these applications only live on in my imagination. Until then I'm Mopar 1st ford second

Not enough power for that size engine. Also, it seems like it doesn't know what it wants to be, some really nice luxury features with some crucial ones completely absent. Its like a barebones truck with a luxury pricetag. Strange.

The truck market is so starved for inventory in Utah that dealerships are paying above a premium for used vehicles. Six weeks after I bought mine the dealership that sold it to me offered me 10k over what I paid to trade it in. I suppose this dealership did something similar, in a trade in scenario.

I wonder what kind of fuel economy you get towing with this monster?

Nice truck but the motor is weak for a 7.3. Should have had at least 530-550 lb ft. Minimum. It was an improvement but not huge over the 6.2. If its geared with 3.55s and a 6.2 has 3.73s or 4.30s its not much at all.
