Have the 2020 sel and love it. Beat the epa gas mileage easy. Still average between 36 and38 mpg . Just turned 40000 miles with no problems. Can’t beat the price compared to other brands

I have the exact same car! Same color, 1.5 Liter 3 cylinder, AWD. I love it! Great gas mileage and it moves out pretty good. Especially in Sport mode.

Yes the 1.5L is pretty nice in power and in efficiency as well. My 2016 Escape with the 2.0L engine just hit 113k miles and it averages about 23 mpg in town. Love that Ice Blue!

Got the metallic red model this past Saturday, both me and the wife love it!

I'm looking at one. What issues are you experiencing? Would you not recommend it for long trips with a lot of cargo? I have a fiesta ST if you load it up with stuff you can tell the engine is struggling. I worry about wearing the wear and tear over time.

While I don't have this particular 2022 Escape SE with the 1.5L, (just reviewed it) I do have a 2016 Escape with the 2.0L Turbo. At the moment it has 106k miles and had it since new. Only issue I've had has been the evap purge valve which is a know issue but it has never left me stranded. Great on long trips, well with the 2.0L engine its has plenty of power even when its loaded. It's been pretty solid so far and even these new one's I've heard there pretty reliable. If you are going to load lots of things I will suggest getting the 2.0L over the 1.5L engine for sure. Ohh, love to drive a Fiesta ST, I hear there lots of fun to drive! I reviewed a Focus RS, but they say the fiesta is more fun! Thanks for watching!

Bought my 2022 Escape in March 2022 just turned over to 9,000 miles. Has heated seat which I have only used a few times. I love this vehicle.

Are the RPMS supposed to jump and it slightly jerks when braking? Feels like an early downshift when braking

Got a great deal on a 2022 SE in March as my dealer was begging me to trade in my 2019 which I loved. Been very happy but manual close only on the hatch and manual seat adjustments for driver. Love Apple CarPlay and bigger screen. Great gas mileage. I drive in Eco mode around town and regular on freeway. I just tried out Sport mode and I was amazed at the acceleration. All you need for suburbia.

Our 2016 blew the tranny at 114k so we just traded in for the red 2022 se love it so far, turned off the auto high beams though it kept flashing people

Oh no ! I got a 2016 Escape with the 2.0L. 103k miles on it, did a trans flush about 20k miles ago, hope it holds together for a bit more!

Ford Escape line left Vietnam 10 ++years ago as well. I miss the Escape. Always a decent Car from Ford.

I like most of it. The seats are hideous and cheap looking, and i cant do 3 cylinders.

On the seats, yes and the 3 cylinders, dont know why Ford would do 3 cil, they should just do a I-4 turbo with different power levels in my opinion..

Could be varios reasons, terrain type, stop and go traffic, weather and of course how fast you like to drive! But your mpg is about average for city driving if thats your commute. My 2016 Escape with the 2.0L engine gets about 21-23 mpg in city driving with a light foot of course..

I hate this car my wife has 1 its crap gas mileage is about 22mpg no spare and you hear and feel way more of the road then you should suspicion suck! wifes car only has about 4700miles and already has issues
