Nice video. Gotta love the ground clearance! There is an oil prime function you can use on the first start after the change. Press down the brake and accelerator , press start and keep holding the pedals down. This will circulate oil after the change and prevent the engine from actually starting. Once it completes, you are good to go with a normal start.

Thanks for the video. They filled at factory with 7 (7.5 actually 1st fill) the dipstick used by Ford in the 2.7L shows it above the twist in the stick. Now Ford has changed the manuals/tech info to show 6 qt fill. (Which will match dipstick markings)They are also saying 7 won’t cause damage. The forums are in a frenzy as to what is correct. Fun stuff right?

So confusing for sure. I figure if it marked right on the stick they can't say shit if it breaks. But of course warranties are a complete scam so if you do the oil change yourself you're fucked. But hopefully this video helped you thanks for watching.

I used 6.5 qt on my first oil change refill! But, i believe that 6 qts is the correct amount and will probably adjust for the next oil fill! I wouldn’t place to much stock into the disgruntled ramblings of self-appointed forum oil change gurus (especially Bronco6G) when Ford has permanently put this matter to rest!

TIP: depress & hold the break & gas pedal at the same time, press the start button & the Bronco will run a cranking cycle to cycle the new oil in the engine with out starting up.

Sounds like yours does the same thing mine does. I just brought it home this past Wednesday and (new to the 2.7 ford) I hear that knocking sound on startup every time. I was about to replace the oil filter thinking I had a faulty check valve but then I heard yours and I hear the same noise. It goes away after driving it but then after it sits for a few minutes and restart, I hear it again. I guess it’s normal? I hear that on yours think?? It knocks with the speed of the rpm.

Go to my channel, I just uploaded a video of it on there I took the other day to send to the dealer. I was so worried about that sound. Tot Tot Tot Tot Tot .. About the 13 second mark. I’m pretty sure I hear that same sound in yours. If so I’m absolutely relieved. Like I previously mentioned, once you driving down the road a minute it goes away, but then after you let it sit, it comes back when you start it. Test it out, see if you hear the same thing

I don't know what the part number is but is a screw cap so it shouldn't have to be replaced unless it's broken. I would however check the o ring on the plug and make sure it's in good condition so you can replace that if needed.
@robstillman2133

is part number KX6Z-6730-B. The parts guy at Ford said no needed to change it each time, unless the o ring is damaged or the plug is broken in any way. Be sure to lub the o ring before re installing
