I got my Dodge Charger a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it. It has such a cool sporty look. I don’t really care about the engine specs, I just wanted a car that looks sporty and I can carry my family in.

A v8 in 2022 and the foreseeable future is a complete burden for average people. Most People screaming v8 everything are car poor in this day and time. 300+ Hp with a few mods, perfect daily driver. Go for what you like but don’t go broke for a few likes.

I was actually very surprised with the sound!

I was at an Airport car rental in Oakland, CA. They gave me a Charger because they ran out of full size vehicles (Altimas and Camrys). It was a non AWD, but it had premium trim and a sporty gray color. This isn't a sports car, but can catch up to traffic fairly quickly.

Nope. Save your money, get something cheap that you can mess around in. Learn to drive first. You WILL get in an accident. Some shit you're not thinking about. Monthly payments. Whats your credit score? You know what a good percent rate is? Insurance for an inexperienced driver. I assume you're young. There's a lot of shit that the salesman at the dealership will spew at you at rapid speed to try and get things by you so you don't hear them that will fuck you. Example. Gap insurance. You know what that is? No? Go buy a cheap, used Honda civic.

I have a 2019 GT Charger I love it, it’s definitely peppy but it doesn’t have the torque for all the weight. I will be getting the RIPP Supercharger soon so that should help 🤣

Nice car! Thanks! I’m putting flowmaster 40 in it when I get my charger GT. Don’t need a v8 and I want AWD for snow and need better gases mileage for the prices we have. Yeah the GT isn’t a race car but doesn’t mean it doesn’t have power. It makes more power then my brother-in-laws former 95 Mustang GT he had. This car is definitely a cruiser not a race car but a cruiser, it’s a fun car and I like it 🙃

Bought a 22 charger sxt ,run straight pipes after the y pipe delete and and rear muffler, sounds raspy with 2.5 in pipes ..after the new 3in pipes it sounds like a v8. With that and the throttle controller, and in sport mode I can burn possy rear end. And smoke up the street. I COULD BELIEVE I WAS BEATING THE RT's , I S.T.G.

My opinion is get a sxt blacktop and with the extra cash get a better sound system and get a CAI like i did. It probably sits lower than the gt. You dont need a awd plus RWd is better on gas. I get like 35mpg going 75-85mph

I've had mine for 6 months,its charcoal grey with mat black/orange racing stripe. Very sharp looking vehicle. My question is,how it in the snow? I git a quote for winter tires just over $2000 but was told this would be useless in the snow. Comments/comments?

Thank you for this review, of which I have been waiting for. To note, everyone I have run into that owns either a Charger SXT or GT with the V6 absolutely loves them. In addition, all have said... 1. The V6 has more than enough power for their needs. 2. Fuel economy is great, especially during traveling on highways. 3. Super comfortable and all-around spacious. Ran into a couple last week that was on their 2nd SXT AWD, trading in their previous SXT AWD (that they bought new) with nearly 189K miles on it. Dodge you should’ve still offered the 5.7L V8 as an option or add a supercharger. The car is a bit heavy for a NA V6. There aren’t many 400Hp AWD Sedans in the market.

Good review. I might consider this, but 44k for a v6 on a dated platform is too much. There are some other good options out there for that price. Especially when you could get a scat pack just a couple years ago for that.

Yeah its a good chunk of money for a slow car. But you get so much size that other cars at this price don't offer. So its a different buyer on these for sure

I have a 3.6 liter V-6 with OVER 300 hp. Plus I can put a cord of wood in the back and haul over 7000 pounds. All for about $10k less. Yes, I have a Chevy Colorado. Sometimes I am guilty of checking out Dodge products because they have old school looks but the muscle never matches up to the $$$. The company has improved a lot in 20 years but they're still a million miles away from leading the pack, but they are unashamedly asking front if the pack prices. You can buy a lot of car from German and Japanese competitors and let's not forget. This is a Dodge. Dodge. A frikken Dodge.

41 grand for a V6 not too long ago I saw a new Charger Rt Hemi for 41 brand new and you could get a Scat Pack for a few thousand more so I don't think it would be worth the money it's a really nice car but for 41k no sorry lol.

Yup.. These are too heavy! Thats why even a 700hp Hellcat is not that fast

For the price it is id just get the rt then

I don't think anyone wanting to buy a performance sedan would consider a V6 Charger, this car is for those that is only concerned about going from point A to point B and vice versa. It is a sharp looking sedan, I see these all the time and think they are V8s when I see that shaker hood.

It’s a cruiser vehicle and it’s AWD it’s good for the snow !!! You can’t drive and RWD in the snow ! Besides why would you want a race car and a v8 at the gas prices we have now. My mother who drives an F150 2021 Lariat paid 124 dollars to fill her tank. And me who drives a V6 vehicle which makes less horsepower and smaller engine and no it’s not a Charger paid 53 dollars to fill. Still expensive but not as expensive as the V8

I would say money pit. But there might be some reliability issues popping up here and there. If it's brand new under warranty should be fine. But even older these are ok

That is an extremely cheaply made vehicle. It looks sporty sure, but the thing will me a nightmare once it's warranty runs out...

@BrosFOURRSpeed OK Speedy but understand most people on the road aren't driving cars like that. I have a 2018 Charger GT plus AWD and it's a great freeway cruiser. Super comfortable, good mileage, and the AWD makes it a very versatile car in the winter if you live in snowy climates. You saying "it's not fast" is pretty meaningless because it's not supposed to be.

Yeah everyone has a different perspective. But even my wife's old Audi S3 with a 4 cylinder does 4 seconds to 60. Plenty of normal sedans out there do much quicker accelerations than the V6 Charger. So it is one of the slower sedans out there
