    That Custom Trail Boss Is The Base Off-Roader & The LT Trail Boss Is The Luxury Off-Roader. I Loved The LT Trail Boss Better Because Of A Lot Of Features But The Custom Trail Boss Is A Better Buy.The LT Trail Boss Is More Expensive.

    Man, less than 2% APR rates, I wish! Canada we see some at 4.5% and average 4.99%. Yet to see a deal on Chev or GM that makes me want to pounce on it. The last high country we priced was close to $84,000 CAD. Might try looking into a '22 Trail Boss though, these are beauties and I bet aren't pushing $90k.

    I guess I got lucky, my custom 2022 TB, with a lot of options came with the 6.2 10 speed. Getting around 18 mpg, rides really nice on the rough roads.

    The LT has extra packages. Convenience package , storage package, protection package, and the suspension upgrade from the trail boss. Thats the biggest differences

    I just got my custom trail boss and paid 59k (4k dealer up charge bastards). sticker is 55k came with the 5.3 eco engine. and high clearance off road steps and the midnight edition package. i probably got screwed but lesson learned. i love the truck though.

    @@bobvance-During the peak pandemic, Dealers might not have, or very little. Trucks were in high depends, especially 4wd. I had walked out of multiple dealerships. You actually are somewhat wrong about this. They were marking up Honda civics and economy cars 3-4k.

    It's pretty easy to get it taken off. Most dealerships want to sell cars, even if there are people willing to pay markups. Cash now is always better than a little more cash later.@@calebniederhofer6529

    Not many years ago, modern "base" models would have been considered unimaginable luxury. What stops me from getting the custom is lack of a "winter" package. For those living far north, heated seats are almost a necessity.

    I would have whole-heartedly agreed with this 2 years ago, before I got my Custom... Living in NB, Canada - 2 winters in and the Custom 'sans heated seats' didn't really phase me... STILL, the heated seats would have been nice for sure...!

    My 22 custom has the 5.3 to my knowledge the custom is strictly trim has nothing to do with engine or performance, cloth interior, bench front seat, 8 inch screen no fog lamps and easy lower tailgate not power. I have 20 inch wheels on mine

    Not sure why you said the mpg of the 2.7 and 5.3 basically the same? They are not and if you read about real world results they can end up close on highway but in town the 2.7 is getting like 18-19 were the 5.3 is 13-15.

    I hate bench seat. To this day, I've never nobody carrying a person in the middle section. That hump would make uncomfortable and I defenetly don't want nobody that close to me. Plus, a floor through console gives you a sportier drive and more space to store items.

    Has a G80 mechanical/auto rear locker. All the Trail Boss trucks have it. When the wheels spin as a certain speed when slipping a pin drops inside the diff and automatically locks the rear diff. It is not selectable like other trucks or other higher Trail Boss trims.

    In my opinion for 1-200 more per month you get LT and that's a hell of a lot more truck for the $. Gotta go with the 6.2 either way though. The power/sound/capability is wayyy better for 1 less mpg/$2500.

    Love my 5.3 Custom - it’s simple and got a great deal on it, I can afford the LT but it wasn’t worth $14k more imo

    @@ryanproffit2298 they apparently are not equipping the 5.3 with the module to attempt to save chips?? But I guess the internal parts are set up the same but most have new part number from what I have read. Hoping this issue gets better I want a trail boss.

    I went in looking to buy an LT but I like the front end of the custom way more. Ended up saving thousands with the big V8 too. Don't care about the minor interior features but that LT front is way too busy and ugly to me. It doesn't look tough or aesthetic.

    Ya you can save $2500 on the v8 but you will spend so so much more on fuel especially if towing. The 3.0 is only way to go

    I want tech/toys in my vehicle so upgrade for me. Not sure about plastic seats though. I hate that insipid brown colour. The black is a very attractive look to me. I would spend $14k more. It’s not that much more expensive if making payments. Is it?

    The custom just looks better to me, I like the grill with Chevy spelled across and the headlights look better on the custom and did I mention it's 10,000 dollars cheaper, custom beats LT for the money and in looks!

    The 2” lift is a spacer / block lift and if you read the fine print they are “Rancho branded” shocks. Just saying. Great trucks regardless !

    It's pretty simple, LT Trail boss is a V8 with a 10 speed Transmission the Custom Trail boss you are getting the look of a Trail Boss but no towing,or horsepower,the 10 speed Transmission and V8 makes the Trail boss,this guy doesn't know what he is talking about.that Z71 badge is $85

    Your engine prophecy didn't hold true. I just picked up the custom with the 5.3 and the 20" rims and tires standard for 50, 300. I had the option of the 6.2 or the Diesel as well.

    GM has to give folks a reason to trade in their older truck in the future. I'd bet the 10speed will show up with the 2.7 in a year or two. I'd love to see what the MPG would be like with that combo.

    Yeesh. $60k for a $200 leveling kit and crappier towing and payload capacities. I'll stick with my Z71 2500HD. I just like that ZR2 hood. That is all.

    I take the V8 GM need to add more hp at least 400 plus 440 on torque for the 5.3L need some upgrade well nice truck but I am not fan for 4cyl truck 2.7 v6 twin turbo that will be different animal for 50K truck LED lights better interior this custom it’s 37k no 50k GM it’s totally insane 4cyl 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💩
