Wait, I just notice, this year the remove the LED taillights from the custom. WTF chevy, you keep going back. Las gen had Xenon headlights for all trims, but now you have incandescent?
This is the video I needed ❤️👍🏽 thanks
That Custom Trail Boss Is The Base Off-Roader & The LT Trail Boss Is The Luxury Off-Roader. I Loved The LT Trail Boss Better Because Of A Lot Of Features But The Custom Trail Boss Is A Better Buy.The LT Trail Boss Is More Expensive.
Both trucks are good looking trucks. I like the custom trail boss best off road truck
Man, less than 2% APR rates, I wish! Canada we see some at 4.5% and average 4.99%. Yet to see a deal on Chev or GM that makes me want to pounce on it. The last high country we priced was close to $84,000 CAD. Might try looking into a '22 Trail Boss though, these are beauties and I bet aren't pushing $90k.
Does the Custom have a better approach angle/gnd clearance by not having those low mounted fog lights that are on the LT??
I guess I got lucky, my custom 2022 TB, with a lot of options came with the 6.2 10 speed. Getting around 18 mpg, rides really nice on the rough roads.

Um..... Did anyone notice how the 2.7 sounds like flippin chainsaw.
The LT has extra packages. Convenience package , storage package, protection package, and the suspension upgrade from the trail boss. Thats the biggest differences
I just got my custom trail boss and paid 59k (4k dealer up charge bastards). sticker is 55k came with the 5.3 eco engine. and high clearance off road steps and the midnight edition package. i probably got screwed but lesson learned. i love the truck though.

@@bobvance-During the peak pandemic, Dealers might not have, or very little. Trucks were in high depends, especially 4wd. I had walked out of multiple dealerships. You actually are somewhat wrong about this. They were marking up Honda civics and economy cars 3-4k.

It's pretty easy to get it taken off. Most dealerships want to sell cars, even if there are people willing to pay markups. Cash now is always better than a little more cash later.@@calebniederhofer6529
Not many years ago, modern "base" models would have been considered unimaginable luxury. What stops me from getting the custom is lack of a "winter" package. For those living far north, heated seats are almost a necessity.

I would have whole-heartedly agreed with this 2 years ago, before I got my Custom... Living in NB, Canada - 2 winters in and the Custom 'sans heated seats' didn't really phase me... STILL, the heated seats would have been nice for sure...!

Vinyl seats in the LT? Didn’t even realize vinyl was an option trout options were cloth or leather only??

Online you can configure the custom trailboss with the 6.2L.

My 22 custom has the 5.3 to my knowledge the custom is strictly trim has nothing to do with engine or performance, cloth interior, bench front seat, 8 inch screen no fog lamps and easy lower tailgate not power. I have 20 inch wheels on mine
why no fog light option on the Custom?
Not sure why you said the mpg of the 2.7 and 5.3 basically the same? They are not and if you read about real world results they can end up close on highway but in town the 2.7 is getting like 18-19 were the 5.3 is 13-15.

I’m sure both the v8 and 4cyl Trailboss will lose some mpgs due to the off road tires.

Why would anyone go to 6.2L other than exhaust sound
I hate bench seat. To this day, I've never nobody carrying a person in the middle section. That hump would make uncomfortable and I defenetly don't want nobody that close to me. Plus, a floor through console gives you a sportier drive and more space to store items.

@nicholaszavala6991

Has a G80 mechanical/auto rear locker. All the Trail Boss trucks have it. When the wheels spin as a certain speed when slipping a pin drops inside the diff and automatically locks the rear diff. It is not selectable like other trucks or other higher Trail Boss trims.
In my opinion for 1-200 more per month you get LT and that's a hell of a lot more truck for the $. Gotta go with the 6.2 either way though. The power/sound/capability is wayyy better for 1 less mpg/$2500.
Love my 5.3 Custom - it’s simple and got a great deal on it, I can afford the LT but it wasn’t worth $14k more imo

I went in looking to buy an LT but I like the front end of the custom way more. Ended up saving thousands with the big V8 too. Don't care about the minor interior features but that LT front is way too busy and ugly to me. It doesn't look tough or aesthetic.

Ya you can save $2500 on the v8 but you will spend so so much more on fuel especially if towing. The 3.0 is only way to go
I want tech/toys in my vehicle so upgrade for me. Not sure about plastic seats though. I hate that insipid brown colour. The black is a very attractive look to me. I would spend $14k more. It’s not that much more expensive if making payments. Is it?
