I have one of these. I have been riding Electra Glides for over a decade and grew up on Honda CB's and the like. I love this CLX. It's an amazing riding experience and I got out the door for $7.100.00 It's fantastic in todays traffic. Does suck down a bit of fuel in comparison though. I won't sell mine.

Thanks for a great review! Another couple of key features never normally found at this price is the cast aluminium swing arm and adjustable suspension, front and back . Incredible value ! My only worry is the 13l fuel tank is oddly small compared to my 2015 CB500Fs 17l tank . We had a fuel crisis recently in the U.K. and range really matters !!

They got Kawasaki engine on the 400 and 650, KTM engine on 800 and 1250. So is this bore-up version of that kawasaki 650? Seems like well built bike. And if i’m not mistaken KTM owned 49% of CFmoto and they’ll raced in Moto3 next year with Pruestel GP team using KTM rebranded bikes just like Husqvarna & GasGas.

Excellent review Snag! Good ol Chapel Street… prior to covid that place was absolutely electric day or night. Up in that carpark ive seen many a dodgy things, but not you & the CL-X.😎 I’m surprised the low speed fueling isn’t great, were you in Sport mode or Economy? Did you really notice any difference between the 2? Will you be riding the Sport when it’s released here in Aus? Snag or Spencer? Any dodgy carparks? Burnouts?😉🇦🇺

How would this fair against the trident 660 and street twin 900cc apart from price which is a given? In Aus trident is only in Lams form which you have reviewed.

I still ride a monstrous 1 liter naked :))..... Wanted to buy a CL-X, but they didn't bring it in time for the season, and when they did they were kinda "Wtf, that expensive?"..... Now you can buy a brand new one at 5000 E.....which is something I will enjoy buying. Always loved this bike ...

@@Abundance4LL Depends on how smooth an down to earth you are... Most liter bikes are tamer than their reputation, but the are rockets..

Your mistake is not having it in ECO mode. Buttery smooth throttle delivery.

My turn signal turns off way before I make my turn. Is that normal. Any help is appreciated.

Kind of odd that with all that stuff it doesn't have traction control.

unfortunately they are way over priced here in Canada. The new Honda Hornet is only $1000 more and its a far more superior bike in my opinion...
