I stick to fresh dead sardines or mackerel but people use all sorts of bait like salmon heads, cat food, and chicken

I’m wondering how much bait is used, say for 10 hoops for an evening of fishing? Buying from the bait barge how many scoops do you recommend?

For 10 hoops, I get a half scoop. Every once in a while, they go light on the passes and I wish I had more. But usually a half scoop does the job.

The other dude should wear 🧤. Otherwise 🩸 ! But nice catches fellas .

Kind of surprised you let them fall on the deck can't be good for them.

Looks fake the pictures may be from last season. Sperm patches under cephalothorax indicate closer to the end of the season...
