Buick has explained; about the two materials on the backside of the front seats. The idea was that since they were able to make the front passenger seat fold completely flat, the hard plastic helps in that hard ir heavy items do not rip or chew up the cheap leatherette. Why not just then make both the hard plastic too match…I don’t know. I have one AWD Select with the Advanced Technology Package. I am able to fit a 6th ladder and was very happy that seat back was not leatherette.

Nice review but does it count as savings when you get so much less than the competition - not much value here at sticker.

It’s hard to say that when you receive 10 way power driver seat, heated seats, technology, available 360 camera and towing. MSRP for these features MSRP 28,459 to me that’s a great deal comparing it to the rivals but some people may not like Buick, nothing wrong with that 👍🏻

Why don't you admit that the CVT transmission is a cheap way to build the car as opposed to the 9 speed transmission. The CVT tranny is not a strong ,or reliable tranny ,and it will fail LONG before the regular automatic will .I guarantee it . They lag before the car starts to move ,and you are correct .They take the fun out of the driving experience with a regular automatic .

I personally own a cvt with over 150,000 miles. If you service them they will last, I dislike the gear ratios and it’s a lot slower and a manual or regular auto is my first choice 👍🏻
