Top job and big effort with your custom built hand corer. Us lawn guys love making beautiful green smooth lawns and then to almost enjoy it more in cutting it down to its ankles and looking like we have lost the plot to the rest of the neighbourhood 😂 Look forward to see yours bounce back in 2-3 weeks 👍

To a non-lawn guy like me, this seems like a lot of work to destroy a nice looking lawn. I know it will come back nice, but is it really worth it? (I guess that is why I am a non-lawn guy!😅). Anyway, thanks for taking the time to show us what you do and how you do it.

Thanks for taking to time to watch 😃. You are right, it definitely is a lot of work. But very necessary, especially for cylinder mowing. However I’d definitely recommend it for a regular lawn. Maybe not to this extent. Perhaps it could be done bi annually as apposed to annually. But definitely well worth one’s time as it does wonders for the lawn 😃👍🏻

That is the only petrol powered piece of garden equipment that I have bought new. (About ten years ago) and I tell you what, it nearly put me off sthil for good. I can’t wait to upgrade it. Janelle is constantly telling me to buy a new one. Battery powered Straight shaft and rotary scissors next👍🏻

Wjat a great idea with the Spreader mod, I'm one of the ones that know how frustrating the last bit is!! Is it nylon cutting board you used?

I glued plastic in there to make it more of a funnel so it uses all the fertiliser. Hopefully that makes sense 😃. I might do a video on it soon 👍🏻
