44k Will get you into a fairly well specced A4. This might make more sense in the base trim but even that's quite a bit. Let's e honest though you're paying for the badge

Fully specced Hond civic runs 32K these days. And most of the top trim civic comes standard here. If you're okay with higher maintenance cost, it can be a pretty economical choice (about 5K more for a smoother ride and better quality materials)

@@farbor1734 Bro, you have to look at it from Putin’s perspective. Ukraine has a puppet government that doesn’t respect Russian interests and is hostile to Russia. This is why Putin invaded. When he invaded, the west began funding Ukrainian neo-Nazis with weapons. This is why Putin is mobilising. I understand why you’re frustrated, major companies don’t sell in Russia anymore, but some sacrifices have to be made in order to secure Russia’s position in the international world. Otherwise, Russia will decline into a western puppet state that has 0 say in international affairs.

The engine cutting in and out all the time to “save fuel” on a non-hybrid for ridiculously short periods of time cannot possibly be worth it when you factor in the starter and lack of oil pressure on each startup.

  • @helloandrewc

I thought that was pretty impressive tbh. I didn't realize a mild hybrid would cut the engine at like 20 mph when slowing to a stop like that. The start/stop in my '20 A3 can be quite annoying bc it's pretty traditional in that it doesn't cut off until you're already stopped. So in heavy traffic I usually turn it off.

modern starters are beefed up to handle stop/start, engineers take these things into consideration. they're not just taking a normal engine from 5 years ago and throwing on stop/start onto it. it's all planned
