Dude what a wicked OUTCAST 8S RIPP!! the snow is definitely annoying.. I dont mind 1 or 2 snow RIPPS .. it's fun watching snow fly around behind this wicked machine. But I definitely agree the cold is death for r.c trucks. The back yard TRACK is so awesome. Right on R.C GUY GARAGE YOU ROCK DUDE!! awesome content! Way to RIP IT RC Guy G!! 👍 The Outcast 8s is such a Beast!! Check out the 3DRC wing mount, it's better than stock!! The cold is hard on the rigs but you KNOW!!! 😆😆😆 The O8S is a Heavy rig but it handles oh so sweet. The sliding action the turns on the burm plus your jumps were worth the Destruction!!! Great session, stay safe and bash on from Colorado!!!

Hey bub, i had the same problem with one of my spektrum esc's with only being able to tap breaks once before reverse was engaged and the technician at horizon told me that was because something was wrong with the esc and told me to send it in and they sent me another one. Great vid by the way, i love my exb 8s outcast

It's very difficult to break off the wheelie bar. Well In Warm weather 🌡️ not your crazy climate. 👊🤟

@@rcguygarage lol yeah your probably right but I grew up in Indianapolis Indiana lived thru blizzard of 76 it think it was and few in Atlanta Georgia so I do miss snow but I know its not Fun to live in years after year IV got plenty of beach sand an dunes I ran my new kaiju first Time yesterday on the beach sand it was sorta like snow lol and was fun. Had a problem with the steering staying centered every every time I made the adjustment it would go away by time I was done it was so far off it wouldn't stay straight less I kept it counter steered manually so I'm not sure what's up but ill get it figured out im sure. Ok bud y'all stay warm ✌🏻✌🏻

Yes chef I agree beat RC truck out there. Well RC guy has the RTR with no rear wing so not sure what he's doing 😆. RC Guy it's not an outcast without the wheelie bar. Next run you better install one.

Hey Guy, some upgrades needed, so far RPM arms, M2C steering rack and a Max 5 comb, the original system went into my Mojave, M2C and viton racing upgrade will fix that issue you just had.

I just end up shattering the RPM arms in this kind of cold anyway. Low temps are rough even on flexible plastic. 👍💯 Now maybe if RPM made a flexible Wing mount that'd be cool.

No Lol Guy I was meaning your turnbuckle, I don't go out when it to cold, I lernt my lesson and it cost me to wheels , it was -3 degrees and my buggy hit a tree root and took out the complete centre of the wheel plus adding various cracks around the wheel lol. Don't you feel the cold with short sleeves on lol .

Lol guy! Love that outcast! Hopefully you get it out more in the future!

Don't leave your rc's out in the cold like in your trunk or in the garage bring them inside where it's warm even if you aren't using them it's much better for the plastics

Check out 3d rc for a wing mount. I have had the same one on my 6s kraton from them for the last couple months and it’s still holding up strong. They are nice and flexible. Awesome video as usual

My main concern is breaking the outcast after a measly 15ft jump. Ive watched the shocks turn 90 degrees plenty of times.

Try an upgraded wing mount. Rpm or stock one hit and they are done.

I was out yesterday with the Kraton 8s , losi DBLX 2.0 & the 3s Senton broke all 3 major damage in the kraton & losi but both fixed, the cold really sucks

Those EC5 connectors are 💩 All mine have broken so I've replaced them and wrapped them with Self-amalgamating tape and they seem to be holding up. I noticed in your last outcast 8s video with esc problem you had a bent outdrive. The m2c outdrives are way stronger brother. Love the vids man👍🏽

Exb rear links and rod ends are good i believe only the front suckif i record correctly

I think arrma never should have switched to spectrum electronics. I've heard there slower then the old blx system which was hobby wing I believe. I have a 2018 arrma blx 2050 motor from a Talion in my kronos now. With a quick run 150 Amp esc. I use a tactic receiver and controller that blows away the stock spectrum junk.

I have 2 3s turnigy 30-70c batteries to use in it. There 3 years old now.. and balance pretty well still. My other batteries mostly did not survive. I probably should get a 6s pack with atleast 80c burst to run such a heavy beast.

In your opinion is it worth it? Looking in to maybe getting the 8s or would you rather have the 6s?

Well here's the deal I technically have all three I have the 4S V2 the 6S notorious which is basically the same thing and obviously this beast I absolutely love this beast but you need a large area to run this thing believe it or not I find myself grabbing the 4S V2 over anything else. Not trying to have you check out more videos on my channel but if you want to check out the Outcast V2 on my channel it might open your eyes a little bit again nothing is perfect but if you have the area the 8S is amazing If you want portability and take it anywhere and still have a blast and it not hurt your pocket as much get the 4SV2
