Dear Melissa, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your assistance with my recent purchase of the LX in Canada. Despite receiving some guidance from a dealership representative, I found that many of my questions remained unanswered. Fortunately, your help allowed me to fully understand the vehicle, just as you did with my former GX. It's amusing to think that your training was so helpful, yet I wasn't able to purchase the vehicle from you. Unfortunately, as a Canadian customer, I was subject to an extra 20% luxury tax on the LX, whereas US customers do not face this additional cost. If only I had been able to purchase the car last year when it was more affordable. Once again, thank you for your training and assistance. I am now looking forward to the release of the new RX, which I plan to purchase for my daughter.

Hi Pamela, There is a cargo cover for certain packages on the LX. I would call the Parts Department at your Lexus dealership and ask them if one can be ordered for your vehicle. They will need to VIN to confirm it for you. I hope this helps. Thanks very much for watching!

Hi thanks for your great video. Could you please tell me how to turn off auto backup up safety breaking and reverse parking guidelines and just have tow ball connect guide on when hooking up or reversing with traller on . Plus stop the beeping when hooking up ? I can not find anything in my manual for this when towing. A how to video would be great. Thank you so much!

Hi! PKSB is the auto braking feature that you are asking about turning off. Please see this section: 1:16:04 Parking Support Brake The beeping alerts as from the parking sensors and Rear Cross Traffic Alert: 1:18:26 Vehicle Settings: BSM, PKSA Customizations These sections might be helpful for you for the camera monitor system settings and operation: 55:08 View Monitor in H4 (not using MTS) 1:00:13 Turn View Monitor Auto Mode 1:00:55 Backup Camera View I hope this will help get you setup the way you are wanting. Hi! Yes, the new LX with Lexus Interface is compatible with wireless Android Auto as well. Make sure you have the permissions set on your Android phone for Android Auto to operate wirelessly and you should be good to go! Thanks very much for being here!

Hi Nasser, There is not an auto lock feature on the vehicle. The best thing to do is close the doors, then just touch the indentation on the door handle to lock the car. If you forget to lock it, then you can always lock the LX from the Lexus app. Thanks so much for checking in.

Thank you for a detailed review. Learnt some new features :) I've noticed leg space is less between in 1st & 2nd row. So my question is, can we move 2nd row seat back'n'forth like in previous models, to adjust leg space?

Hi! Thanks for checking in. Unfortunately on the 5 & 7 seat configurations the 2nd row does not slide forward or back any more. The 4 seat ultra luxury setup does have some seat slide, but only for the seat that fully reclines on the passenger side of the vehicle. I hope this helps.

Hi! Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately the temperature is set form the factory based on the region the vehicle is intended to be sold in. There were some previous models that would let you change from F to C for a Weather feature, but that has been removed from the new systems. Thanks very much for checking.

Hi! Yes, the feature you are asking about is 1:16:04 Parking Support Brake It works in conjunction with the Parking Sensors and the Rear Cross Traffic Alert feature. I would say, like with any advanced driver support feature, it is not 100% fool proof. There are always circumstances that can can a system to "not see" something like a low curb, but I have found it tremendously helpful. Thanks for checking in with me!

Hi! The LX has a locking Center Differential, but it doesn't have a locking Rear Differential. The redesigned GX Overtrail model will have two separate locking differentials and we will see that later this year. I hope this helps.

Hi. No you can not stream movies on the car screen. All compatible content is to support the driver while in transit. I know it was cool to be able to watch a movie before on compatible vehicle, but since it required the car to be in Park with the Emergency Brake on, they chose to eliminate that feature and focus more on driver benefits and phone mirroring. Hi! So sorry for the delay! The default mode for Active Height Control is to be in auto and to adjust by speed to many situations. Make sure that you have the feature on (you should not see a light about the button on the screen that turn the feature Off). 2:56:52 4WD Features, Height Control, Easy Access. Hopefully this will help :)

I have a question if we leave off the break and the vehicle is in drive but we open the door will it applied the parking brake ? I heard this from Toyota just wondering if Lexus has that feature

Hi! Yes, that is usually what happens. It is not on all models and years, but is something that started in the past few years when the shifter type changed.

Hi. It is best to drive on Normal and let the system make automatic adjustments on its own. Low height is for lower speeds and is helpful when loading cargo or connecting a trailer. I hope this helps. Thanks for being here!

Hi, Andrew. The digital rearview mirror is an optional item. It is only standard on the Ultra Luxury build at this time. How can I disable the “lane assist” option in LX600 indefinitely? The issue I am currently facing is that each time I disable this feature “by pressing and holding on the steering wheel button” the feature is automatically reactivated the very next time the engine is switched back on. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi! If a feature is designed to cycle back on when you turn the car off and back on, then it is not customizable in the settings on the vehicle. You could check with your Lexus service department to see if there is an additional setting that a technician might have access to, but some safety features are designed to remain on and just be customized to be less sensitive. I bought a 2022 Lexus LX 600, as I have always had Land Cruiser, it has an engine with excellent performance, but the big problem is that the gas tank is very small, only 80 liters or 21 gallons, it is disappointing, in Australia they give the option of a larger tank 110 liters why in America, Isn't there this? or other option

Hi! Unfortunately that calculation is set form the factory for the country or origin the vehicle is intended to be sold and it can not be customized in the vehicle. There were customizations on the previous model, but only for the weather app. Now the weather apps are all mirrored from the phone and must be customized in the app on the phone itself. Why can’t i lock my lexus Lx600 glove box? Can you check yours?

Hi Eung, You should be able to lock your LX glove box with the metal key from your key fob. It should also work in the key cylinder in the driver's door. Make sure to insert it correctly. If it does not insert or turn, then I would see your Lexus dealer to have them check it for you. Best of luck with it.

The kick sensor doesn’t work actually it gives me one peeep and doesn’t open up how can i fix that 10:06

Hi! On the LX, make sure you are kicking on the right hand side of the bumper, you have your smart key with you, and you step back and out of the way so the door has room to open. You can also check the Power Back Door settings in the Settings Menu through the Multi-Information Display to make sure all of the Power Back Door features are turned on. Hope this helps!

Hi. I'm sorry to hear that. I know that sometimes the paint protector shield can cause some wind noise if it is not on smoothly. I would have your sales person or a service person ride with you so they can hear it and see if it is something that can possibly be adjusted. Thanks for checking in.

I'm not sure why they had to have the main screen above the utility screen. I wish they had one lager more unified screen, but there may be some kind of electrical setup that I am not trained on that required the need two screens. I'm sure it will continue to evolve. Thanks for being here!
