Looks awesome. I'm getting the same exhaust installed next week. I did put in a DNA high flow air filter. And even with that filter alone I noticed much better response in the throttle.

The handlebar mirrors with bionic headlight looks sick on your bike! I put them on mine as well. Every MTO7 needs handlebar end mirrors in my opinion, very nice build 👌

The mod I had done that I enjoy the most is steel-braided brake lines. Night and day difference.

Don't buy a new MT07 get it used and save your money, i bought my MT07 for 5 grand with 5800k miles on it ,

You need to get a flash for fuel injector cut off. When you turn disable the cut off, the engine is still fed a little fuel when off the throttle so you don’t get the hard engine braking, allows you to coast!

just keep the throttle open slightly if you dont want engine braking? 🤨 the effect is the same - feed the engine more fuel to continue riding

just got a 2022 waiting on the title and while i wait i cant stop buying parts hahah

I have ask a few questions about the bar end mirrors.. 1) do they get in the way of throttle, clutching,braking? 2) are they better than stock mirrors and if so,why? 3) if I cannot find these same ones, is there a different pair(s) you would recommend? 1. No they do not get in the way of any of that. 2. They are worse than the stock mirrors. They are smaller. I always check mirrors and physically look. I’m never dependent on them so I’m okay with the size. 3. Pretty much any 7/8 bar end mirror will work or ones that clamp on the existing bar ends. You might need to use a spaced to get it to clamp tight but they’re are hundreds of different options. I got a bunch of videos on this thing now and other mod installation. Wether you mod it or not the bike will be great

I don’t have frame sliders yet but I do have spool sliders on the rear axle and they are womet tech from tst industries. I’ll probably be getting my frame sliders from them as well. Thanks for the comment man! Peace ✌️

I have the 2021 XSR 700. Can't find a power commander 5 here in Canada for the 2021 model. They are all 2020 and under. What's the difference? And you're right. I am scared to add up how much it costs for the mods I did so far. But love my bike. Just found you channel. Will be watching. 👍

@@BradTheBuilderChannel FT ECU and 2wdw for the tune. Just plug bike into computer and install the flash. Also it only like 3-4 wires you have to plug into the ECU. Plus down the road you can do a quickshifter upgrade with it.

Jason, Its not a perfect match but its close enough for people to not notice. I unfortunetly do not have the packaging anymore so im not sure. If i figure it out soon ill let you know.

Bazza thanks for the comment. Thank you very much! I designed the pieces myself so I do have the file. As of now I’m not distributing because it violates the integrity of Yamaha logo if I was to distribute. I’m working on a way to contact them to get permission or a third party to produce it legally. A lot of people like it and I’m working on making it better. You will be the first to know if/when I start to distribute.

I guess if you are going to keep the bike for more than five years then spend the money on the exhaust. However if you trade in your bike after 3 years you won't get more money for the mods you have spent your money on..thats why my bike is stock.

I’ve got it installed on my bike. I have a great tutorial on how to install the power commander v to the 2021 model. How to take the plastics off and everything. Also yes and no. The machine will auto adjust but with a full free flowing exhaust it doesn’t adjust quite enough. Prolonged use without a flash tune or power commander which alters fuel delivery, may result in the chance of burnt exhaust valves and premature engine wear. Thanks for visiting the channel.

There is an option. Not sure on the name but it’s around $400 and is more involved. Sending it in is the cheapest route and most allow you to send it back in to get new flashes for free.

Any idea what the difference is between a power commander and just getting the ECU flashed?

Power commander is a piggyback system to the existing equipment and can be removed from the bike returning it to stock. ECU flash is a manual change to the software in the ecu that has more flexibility with adjustments but is much harder to retrun to stock. ECU flashes are harder to troubleshoot in case of an issue. Power commander can be taken off to see if an issue resolves.

@@Avio1717 I know how hard this is to believe but I do not. That's about to change though. I got big stuff in store for future vids. An Instagram account will be made channel specific and I will make a post on youtube when it's all set. I also may be renaming the channel for easier searching both on IG and youtube.

Hi is this exhaust Road legal and does it affect warranty. This is the race option which i like better than the titanium road option. I want to buy one for my 2021 Tracer 7 which i believe is the same fitment. Can you be done by the police for this exhaust or does it affect warranty etc.

Akrapovic states it meets decibel restrictions with the DB killer left in. No cat in this exhaust means it does not meet emission restrictions. If you live in a country that checks emissions regularly chances are you will get in trouble yes. However, in the states, this is a very unlikely scenario. I talked to a state trooper about this very issue and an aftermarket exhaust is the last thing they are worried about. Display your plate, ride responsibly, have the proper lighting on your bike, and be insured. Talked to the dealer and how warranties work is unless the issue is directly traced to the aftermarket part, it is covered under warranty.

ECU flash is not out for the 2021 model just yet :D

On such a good design there is no need for extras. MT 07 logo on front looks blocky or flat and doesnt go with the design language at all. Putting some safety stuff and protection is neccesary
