...well, buy or lease one to help justify the production. Look what is happening to the manual transmission. What gets bought the most, gets made the most. Look at Subaru's lineup (sad face) 😔

Precious Volvo!!!! The S90 is a great car. May be, at least for me, the S80 was more beautiful ( overall the facelift model) but this car is a beauty....thanks for the test!!!!!

I don't understand why volvo is one of the only ones making digital spedometers that don't skip number. It gives such a cheap feeling when an expensive mercedes refreshes its speed two times a second.

A lot of cars have digital speedometers that don’t skip numbers. Chevy is another example. My Volt updates the instruments at probably about 10-15 FPS which is plenty - more than that and you get into really annoying digital aliasing/hysteresis issues.

@@hezerz2272 it’s so you can actually read out your speed when you’re accelerating. it’s not much of a problem when you’re doing an easy cruise down the highway anyway

Wow, they might sell 5 of these...I can't recall seeing any T5/T6 S90s, so seeing a T8 will be a Unicorn 🦄. Only thing more unicorn is seeing a V90. Such great cars that no one wants....

Bruh i'm in finland and like every 5th car i see is a new volvo, also really many of the petrol ones have the t8 powertrain. A lot of D5’s also.

I own an S90 in T5 trim with lots of custom work. I'm glad there's people like you to call out scarcity in the public forum. It makes mine that much rarer and undeceiving. Many a hellcat and merc s500 have f*cked around and found out.

...he is an auto journalist. He receives press mules/cars, usually top spec/trim. As an auto journalist, he puts a request in for a car with the manufacturer and if they feel like it, they let him have a car for a certain amount of time. If he is too critical or speaks too unfavorably about the car, he might not get a car from the brand in the future....his reviews are nice, but must be taken in context and you have to come to your own conclusions

The interiors do change. This interior is from the 2014 concept coupe. The next interior will be from the 2020/2021 concept recharge. The exteriors have changed as well. The Thors hammers were introduced in 2015. Before that Volvos didn't have the distinctive headlights. Volvo will be redesigning their interiors quite a bit starting with the "Embla" that comes out later this year.
