V-ati bagat cu AT-uri in traseu de MT-uri. In plus, lupta este inegală. LC are 21 cm cu gume standard sub carterul diferentialului spate . Dusterul are 21 cm pe toata burta. Caroseria LC-ului este la 40 cm de sol, nu la 21. LC -blocant spate .. Dusterul doar daca il cumperi after market. Nu vreau sa fiu hater, dar off-roadul inseamna in primul rand pregatirea masinilor pentru traseul abordat, nu inseamna ruperea acestor prin bolovani si sleauri facute de utilaje forestiere. Cred ca pe viitor puteti da un exemplu mai potrivit celor care sunt interesati de off-road. Si apropos, aia de comentati cu placiditati de genul" ce frumos" , " respekt " , " profesionisti " ...habar nu aveti la ce vă uitați. Ce vedeti in clipul asta se poare numi " ce sa NU faci in off-road"

Great educational video! This only shows that...as always, it all comes down to the tires! As an owner of Cooper AT3 tires, I must say they handle amazingly well anything you throw at them! Except deep mud. Also, doesn't matter if your car is 80-100k without proper equipment, it's only a mall crawler. I'm starting to have more and more respect for the Duster. Thank you!

If you look closely, the Land Cruiser is lower between the front wheels. Where the skid plate is. 😁that’s what I meant

Let's face facts: the Duster, isn't constructed for heavy heavy terrain...we all know it...and none of us would deny the fact. ✌🏼😄 But to see, that he is capable to master a couple of muddy tracks, which are more likely to be found in any nearby forest, or maybe a couple of sand roads or dried out river passages in warmer regions proves, that you don't necessarily need an intelligent AWD, with all the electronic helpers and differential locks that can be found and bought nowadays. And if the whole construction of the duster is sturdy enough, to take a couple of punches, without breaking apart momentarily....i think it is more than prepared for any small and quick adventure and short cut aside the regular road, than most of us would be willing to take most of the time. 😉👍🏻

It's nonsense comparing 200HP Land Cruiser x 115HP Dacia, The important is the Durability and its maintenance cost, maybe comparable after 100000km I'm sure Toyota will have no mechanical malfunction until that stage.

And by value Duster has major headroom before coming close to total cost plus maintenance of a Toyota Land Cruiser. You can basically wreck a Duster and still be in contention. I think on bang for buck front Duster wins. And Duster advantage is that buying one and kitting it out for off-road is still far cheaper. Not that new cars are meant for that I guess. My vote on affordability goes to Duster. You can buy two at max kit vs. base price LC.

Comparing vehicles with completely different types of tires is bit of nonsense.

An amazing video, great job! The only thing that confused me is that you said Duster has better ground clearance (which it doesn't unless it's lifted and Prado isn't) and that Duster doesn't have a diff lock - i thought it does come with center diff lock. But regardless of that, i enjoyed watching the video!

Herhangi bir diferansiyel kilidi yok fakat lock modunda arkaya giden torku daha uzun ve daha fazla veriyor.

Se pare ca diferenta de greutate compenseaza sisteme ca reductor si diferentiale blocabile !!

What is your opinion about Falken Wildpeak AT3WA?

I have no doubts that the Toy at the end of the test hadn't encountered any problems, while for the Duster I have strong doubts that it remained unharmed, it bulged so many times that there are no counting. in all honesty I don't understand the test, they are not even remotely comparable, used toys with 500,000 or 600,000 km are found daily, Duster?

in iceland driving some 1000s duster with 250.000-430000 km so what ? this are all rental cars at us... landcruiser we have the most population after dubai here i think... different cars but yeah both are not bad depends for what

What are we testing here ...the duster with no low gear box and the half pounds of a land cruiser...in a rainy day at a flat mudy forest?thank god we cant smell the gear disk from here...

It’s not a real landcruiser. Sneaky marketing from Toyota. It’s a 150 Prado (or Lexus Gx 460in North America) ie pretend landcruiser

Problem is that, soon the duster will break down but the prado can go 500k km.

You can never compare LC with Duster..
