Great city car with excellent fuel economy even on the motorway, as long as you dont push it over 120 km/h.

Yes, I have smaller consumption over 140 km/h at my car which is turbo petrol, no hybrid. Same capacity and power, 2.0 litres with 184 HP.

@@Mr11ESSE111 I know, You have diesel engines with same displacement and same or more power that are more efficient than this engine at higher speeds. I suspect that the car is too heavy for this engine with all that extra weight because of the hybrid system.

This is the fastest acceleration 0-100 I have ever seen in youtube (for CHR 2.0lt ofcourse), with the closest being at ~8secs. I would guess that this was performed in a slight downslope?

I observed a lot of hybrids. The total power claimed is only at low and medium speeds. At higher speeds the electric engine "wears off" and only termic engine is strugling. But the termic engine only has low power and after 160, 170 hybrids are weak and top speed usually stops at 180, 190 km/h

Nope, in fact even at high speed the electric motor still assist the petrol engin (when we look at the control screen). The reason why the top speed is limited is because the rotation speed of the electric motor which indeed stop assist the petrol engin at the top speed (here around 180km/h). The way to get ride of that top speed limiter is to add a "gear ratio" like in the Lexus GS 450h for example .. which can exceed 250km/h

nonsense, top speed is lmited artificially bc of electric motor temps to keep wear low

@@Mr11ESSE111 VW onboard computer numbers are fake, VW cheating as always, countless tests have proven they show lower numbers than actual consumption. Just take a look at the small difference between 160 and 180 kph, that makes no sense physically, simple physics is that fuel consumption increases exponentially with speed, the VW bord computer just refuses to show numbers above 10l to fool the driver.
