This presentation is from the 2021 EDS ECHO Summit: Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS). vEDS is a genetic connective tissue disorder that causes the blood vessels and organs to be fragile and prone to tearing. Dr. Shalub's work aims to provide high-quality care to patients suffering from rare vascular conditions such as vEDS. Her goal is to improve success of surgical repair and long-term survival for these high-risk patients while maintaining an excellent quality of life in a manner that is in line with their priorities and personal values.
