Thanks for watching - Thomas
Got a good deal on the 2nd P790s this summer so not disappointed at all that there is no big changes with the new version :D
Thomas I’d like to know how do these compare to the Cobra Forged Tec Irons ?
"Nose hair on the Mona Lisa" need to remember that one when splitting hairs and remaining polite. Combo with P770 in 8,9,PW bent stronger for gapping (a little weaker on the P790 5,6,7 depending on the player should be a great set.
Where is drew and what have you done with him? 😅
PLEASE rerelease the P730 irons
Currently i have 2019 p790, good enough for me, my handicap drop 3 stroke, don't want to spent another 1700 for just slightly improved iron.
At $1,486 for eight irons it is pretty expensive. A couple other brands at this price point would be Titleist T200 and Srixon ZX4 (also hollow body) that I see equally good. I prefer a little more forgiveness, so I bought eight Callaway Mavrik for $800 two months ago. I tested the Mavrik versus the gen 2 TM 790, Srixon ZX4, Mizuno Hot Metal, PXG 0211, and others, and the Mavrik gave me a combination of more distance, feel and better sound for a substantially lower price. I would prefer a little less offset, but they do offer a Pro model too. If you play in single digits, I can see how one might prefer the smaller head of the 790, otherwise not worth it.

I get how some might like a cast iron feel. I play the 790 because I like a larger head and clicker feel, but didn’t want to go game improvement because I tend to draw the ball
How would you even gap these 190 7iron 140 p wedge.
What shaft are you using for your 90+ swing speed
Drew looks different. Alternate dimension?
P790 vs T200?
Thoughts on the whole set 2 degrees weaker? I want the forgiveness of the p790 but would prefer p770 lofts. I don't want to hit a 6i over 200 yards. Would the 2 degrees ruin the trajectory of the ball flight?
This Drew looks different :P
Too many irons too little money. these irons look great.
