2021 Opening weekend | Crested Butte Bike Park
Спорт
I spontaneously decided to drive 15 hours from California to Crested Butte for one day of riding. I met up with my two friends, Madison and Jarrod, for opening weekend at the bike park. This place is beautiful!!! Avery Trail was my favorite.

Your giggling while you ride is how I feel on the inside when I ride. Wish the business side of my brain would allow me to express my joy like you can. Keep up the fun content!

i've never judged anyone negatively that was shouting in excitement down a trail :-) if anything it's the silent people that scare me
If your keyfob battery dies in the future, you can start the vehicle with putting the key right up to the pts button holding it against it so it can read the transponder chip in the key. The keyfob battery essentially amplifies the signal of the chip in the key when in the vehicle, but if that fails you can hold your key right on the pts switch to start it. Love your videos, keep it up!!!
The Crested area is MTB/ATV/dirt bike heaven. Of course, it’s also ski/snowboard/XC heaven as well. I was snow management there when younger. Glad you had fun!
Highly recommend van travel! (And definitely do it before kids and other commitments) My wife and I drove from Alberta Canada to SanDiego, then up the west coast over about 4 months in an old Chevy camper. Best experience ever! Then we found Whistler BC and stayed there for 2 years ha ha
Thanks for the lovely wake up! 🙄

If you put the key in the ignition and start it, the alarm will turn off usually.
Your videos are so much fun, you have a terrific group of friends to ride with. look forward to more, have fun..
Made the 7 hour drive from Salt Lake to Crested Butte for 4th of July weekend after seeing this video and it was more than worth the drive. The bike park was legit as was the rest of the Crested Butte experience. We also found some good trail riding along the Slate River. The Lower Loop trail is seriously beautiful! Thanks for the riding inspiration. (:
I love the excited laughing and exclamations on the descent. That’s how I roll (with a few French or Irish epithets thrown in for good measure). You rocked it, Heather!
Done the roof top tent, I can say a van is the way to go! Love the oh gosh moment in the same section! 😄
I like how you’re including more about the trip and yourself with the POV of the actual ride . Interesting videos
Just love your enthusiasm !!!Keep it up and we'll keep watching.
My favorite "whoaaa haao haoooo" back at it again! This looks like fun!
Always enjoy your videos! Have a great summer!
Woohoo!! Oh, yea!! You're just having entirely too much fun in these vids. Keep on living the dream ❤
Love ur videos, keep living, laughing and shredding! 🤟🏻
Absolutely love the stoke!
You never disappoint with your videos! A van is the ticket!
Awesome trail.. All fun and laughter.. hoo hah! ride safe and enjoy! Heather for president!
I always say , you know it’s a good trail when it makes you Lol on the way down!
Crested Butte rocks full throttle! It's a must ride for backcountry riding, so amazing. Oh yeah, Cottonwood pass is a great drive, the views are fantastic, it opened up last year. Sick riding Heather, y'all killed it.
I’m so pumped to ride this next summer. Thanks!
Awesome! Cool place!
You are mad cool, I love how much fun you have while flying down those trails, makes me want to get on my bike so bad 🔥
Go for the van life bro!!!!! I could see you in one and enjoying all the bad ass adventures !!! 🍻🤎🇨🇱😎✌🏽🚐
Always fun watching your vids.
LOVE Crested Butte!! Dig the riding and town vibe!
Go with 4x4 van you’ll love it! 🤣 nice wake up call!☀️🚵🏼☕️🤣🤣🤣
I'm doing this tomorrow. thx for the motivation!
I'm going next week, can't wait. Awesome video, as always
Awesome…beautiful place…have a nice weekend and take care buddy…
I love watching you keep riding and be safe always
Such good riding and views for days.
I don't think I've ever enjoyed anything as much as you seem to enjoy riding. I'd love to see a mashup of both you and Singletrack Sampler. Both of you are so effusive!
Sweet riding you guys.
You’re definitely having fun!
Wow, I am going to have to make the trip to Crested Butte! The place looks amazing! Great job editing a great video! 👏
Wow that looks beautiful. Hope to make it there one day.
Love the alarmmm
goodness gracious Heather - you are immaculate! ive been binge watching all your videos, and it would be a dream to travel and adventure with you!
I love the Evolution Bike Park at CB! So fun! Great town, awesome bike park, also riding outside the park is magnificent! Pro tip...Go see the Marmots at Rocky Mountain Biological Lab. They have tours and it's a great half day trip. The trails in the bike park are all rated green, blue, black, and double black. The marmots even hang out on the rocks of some of the trails to watch bikers. Camp 4 Coffee is a great coffee spot downtown.
When the key battery dies, open the door with the key, alarm goes off, then put the key into the ignition and turn car on, alarm goes off, use usb charger to recharge keys :)
yall seem so fun to ride with!!
A van will get you to mountain bike trail heads much easier than an RV. I have done both fulltime. I now live in an RV and pull a jeep behind it so I can bring my mountain bike to trail heads. The RV is much more comfortable and house like, the home-built van was much more adventurous and affordable. I’m enjoying your videos.
Great video love subarus ❤️
Happy Days!
You guys are freaking shredders!
Always wanted to tour Colorado bike parks…seems like they are a blast
So Good!
Gonna need some extra fob batteries for VanLife! Can’t be waking up the whole valley every trip! 🤣
Beautiful place!!!. greetings from your fan in Argentina!!!
Hello im new here,, happy to support here in PH,, More Rides and keep safe 🤟
thanks for the trip ✌✌✌
Go van life, like a storyteller or revel OR rooftop tent--RTTs are great, love mine
I noticed your friend Gerard (not sure if I spelled his name right). Whenever disconnecting a car battery, always disconnect the negative first, not the positive. I shocked myself once doing it wrong. Just a friendly word of caution. Great video, well worth the drive I bet. 👍🏻
nice trails
if use the key to start the car the alarm will go off you don't need to disconnect the battery. I worked on new and used car lot.

Yeah, we used to have a fleet of Outbacks where we left the key in an armed car with one door unlocked so we had to trigger the alarm all the time by opening the door. No need to disconnect your battery. Just start the car and the alarm shuts off.
I’m at year and half van life. Love it
I'm satisfied watching the video.
Omg it’s the female version of single track sampler!!! Great content 😬 it is addicting, keep at it and it’ll catch on!
Heyyyyyy 🤙🏻💙Loving the videos xx
Awesome Video
Check, fix, new battery, got it!
sweet subie!!
Keep shredding Little Lady:)
Crested Beaut!😍🤙
Great video 👌🏻
Let’s go back!!!!
Eres loca? Siiiiiiiiiiiiiii.... You are great!!! Zaludotes.
If you’re looking for a extremely challenging trail, there’s one at dinosaur ridge, called Dakota ridge.
Van! Just got a transit myself 😎
Beautiful ☺
Long Drive to ride, but I guess was worth it. 💪🏼
Crested Butte is legit some of the best riding I've ever done. Such a stunning area. Can't wait to get back there. The bike park was closed down due to the ol' Covid when we were there so definitely excited to check it out.

Teocali probably my fav trail ever ridden
I was there that day good times!
Hellz yeah be dope like BKXC traveling across the country 🚐 🚴🏻♀️ 🤙🏾
Yes, van life all the way :)
In case you missed it… you need to do woods trail. Keep heading pas teaser on the road and it’s near the lift! Two nice wall rides hidden in the forest!!! Well worth it!! And the rock drop to latter on Avery is scarier than it actually is!! Great video

Yes, so good!!!
The key fob doesn't have a hidden key, oh.. just got to it !
You can start the car without a fob battery by pushing in the push to start with the fob itself.
I agree go with the van life...you can really pimp out a van. What are your fav riding pair of gloves. I need some new ones
You absolutely can do the van life. Or at least part-time anyway.
VAN LIFE LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next time you have your battery issue... just put the key into the ignition and turn it on. You dont have to start the car just turn it to the second position just before it turns over. This will turn the alarm off... no need to disconnect the battery.

It’s a key fab. No key hole for an old school key. The actual key was dead.

Then you just touch & push the fob into the push to start button like it was one of your fingers. The chip is in the front of fob.. no battery in fob needed …

The green light on push button should light up when it’s close enough to start w/ o batter in fob
Огонь!👍👍👍
Good team 👍 brothers and sisters
I think her level of stoke may rival the Singletrack Sampler. Love it.

I was reading through these to see if someone else made that connection. These two seem so much alike they should do a collab
Wow, 15 hours for one day of riding... that's too much for me!! I could justify that for maybe three days but that's it. And with todays fuel prices, I'm even less willing... I get 8.5 mpg in my camper towing my trailer (at 65 mph). And it's insane that you have to have a working keyfob to operate your car. That's insane. I'm so done with modern vehicles. I'll keep my 2005 truck forever. Great video, looks like a fun ride! I want to ride but it's been windy as hell nonstop here for days on end. I'm SO tired of it.
Cool video, thanks for sharing 👍 If you haven't yet, need to come up to Northern New Mexico and ride The Angel Fire Bike Park, it won't disappoint, guaranteed 👌. Cheers 🍻
Avery Trail is the best for sure! Did you go off the "diving board" rock?
Good Trail..You should do Van Life and give aways for some bikes stuff.
Totally Van Life !
For the greatest view of them all get yourself up and over Pearl!
Get a RV! You can roll a year or two on it and sell it for most of what you paid. Vans seem like either a compromise, or expensive for whatcha get
what month did you go

We have a roof top tent but will upgrade to a van when we retire, assuming prices and supply are back to normal. Looks like CB is quieter than trestle?

Super quiet! No lines ever!
I think you could pull off van life with mountain biking. Maybe do it BCPov style.
Wow so cool nice Biken good Car good Hairstyle top Quality
