I'm an ARMY and an Atiny. As an atiny, my blood boiled when I heard Ateez wasn't nominated for more awards than just the worldwide fans top 10. They deserve more awards. I just wish Mnet wouldn't snub them like I feel they snubbed them for kingdom (which I highly recommend watching if you like Ateez's stage presence, it's off the chart on that show). But no for real, as an Atiny thank you

As a carat who's not into 4th gen groups, i think i finally found my last kpop group whom i will support. My definition of performance are bigbang and seventeen and now this group is proving something. This is how you perform. Ateez has it all!!

Dont worry, the groups that prevail and come from small companies and become extra successful always experience people sleeping on them. @@mg-dv3tu i kinda agree, but i think it's also the way big hit promote them. Bighit knows their target market well, and focused on countries who participated well in streaming and stuff. And also where kpop is really famous. It's not like kq is not promoting very well, they are really great at promoting and treating atz well. But, bighit is more well known compare to kq. I just hoped in time, atz will really get the recognition that they deserve. Slowly, but surely.

I saw a comment on twt saying their mama perf has lower views, actually views can't define true quality. I wouldn't wonder why other big 4 groups have higher views, it's their mainstream exposure... what more do we expect. Now here, we have quality performance and that's what matters the most, I just wish more people stop sleeping on ATEEZ.

It is very sad that these performances are still not appreciated. You deserve better than today's award. The beauty of your voices fascinates me more and more every day.

THEY ATE IT UP ONCE AGAIN

The song is a bloody masterpiece and a great comment on society, MAMA does not deserve these guys. This was so much fun, really. Rap line was absolutely phenomenal, Hongjoong and Mingi were so energetic and the attitude was amazing and Seonghwa and Yeosang also really stood out here. Yunho's vocals are so damn smooth, like the man never disappoints. Jongho slays as usual, and San and Wooyoung were really cool. Yet again, MSnake can burn. Also, I think m maybe the sound mixing wasn't right, like I felt like the vocals couldn't be heard clearly?? Idk. ALSO, YEOSANG WAS SO FUCKING COOL IN THE DANCE BREAK, LIKE FUCKING GOOD FOR HIM.

ATEEZ and ITZY performed the best at Mama. They ate and left no crumbs

Anyone else who hates k award ceremonies as much as I do? The fact that rookie group gets 4 awards mostly because they are from a big company... And legends like ateez getting ignored... Gets on my nerves.

I swear what makes ATEEZ different is they are on a whole different level. I know 4th gen idols focus on hard choreographies and concepts.. ATEEZ completely aces that but also has this 2nd gen idols vibe wherein they put emphasis on live performances and stage presence. Ive been a Bigbang fan since they came out and I never thought id see another group with stage charisma like them until I found Ateez. Glad I found these boys! Mad respect!

They are one of the few 4th gen artist who are very less depended on lip sync or background vocals.

Now that was a stage fit for MAMA! You can tell they're actually enjoying it and that is what sets this one apart aside from the usual mindblowing live vocals and killer stage presence. Their energy is infectious and they're not just going through the motions. Performers in the true sense of the word.

ATEEZ really shined through tonight, it was amazing. they were the only reason why i watched mama in the first place.

I have to say that ATEEZ is so insane for this.. I've been watching their performance since 2019 and their performance keep on getting better. No offense but ATEEZ is so cool that I can't enjoy other performance or get excited like I am watching ATEEZ's Performance.

The fact that ATEEZ uses every chance to perform for ATINY. Honestly, ATEEZ doesn’t need a nomination or award to know they are one of the best K-pop groups out there. Being on Billboard top 40 for their last album and having a sold out world tour proves enough to the fans! But thanks MAMA for being snakes.

@@foxowl5977 they were on kingdom (mnet's survival show from back in march) and for the last round they had to perform a new song (they perfomed the real). Now ateez usually spoil their next title track at the end of their mvs so if you look at the fireworks mv (they had a cb during the show) you'll hear the instrumental of the real at the end, meaning it was supposed to be their next comeback. When they performed the song on kingdom, the contract was that mnet gets a part of the income they make with the song for a period of time i think. So ateez had two comebacks between and now released the real as their comeback but they re-recorded it so it's a different version and mnet now can't make money off the song bc it's not the same song anymore. I hope i made sense lol

기다리는 그룹이 하도 안 나와서 지겨워서 죽을 것 같았는데 난데없이 등장하는 사물놀이패와 들려오는 우리 가락, 북청사자놀음, 탈춤에서 눈이 번쩍 뜨였다.. 그래 외국인들 불러놓고 우리나라 시상식 자랑할 거면 이런 무대 하나는 있어야지 하면서 박수를 짝짝짝 쳤음. (하지만 이번 마마 그지 같았던 거 절대 안 잊어 아직 속이 끓네) 노래 너무 신나고 무대도 좋았고 실력도 좋고 라이브 속이 다 시원했음. 누군가 했더니 에이티즈... 우리불낙지 후배..ㅎㅎㅎ 내가 당신들 선배들한테 그렇게도 바랐던 컨셉이었는데ㅠㅡㅠ 한국풍에 힙합 더해서 빡세게 랩하고 멋들어지게 무대하는 거.. 갓 쓰고 도포 두르고 부채 들고 춤추고 랩하고 노래하는 걸 상상했었다우....껄껄.. 그걸 후배 그룹이 대신해주네ㅠㅡㅠ 사실 관심이 없었는데 정말 정말 너무 너무 잘하더라👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 기다리던 그룹을 제외하고 제일 기억에 남는 무대였음

ATEEZ really do! They even love covering songs of their seniors, I mean look at MAMA 2019! ATEEZ have never let Atiny down, they truly are a breath of fresh air!

I smiled then cried. The guys looked like they were having a blast and Mingi was involved this time. They look so good with green on. 4th generation leaders right here!! Super proud of them...♥️

Not them cutting out the part where San screamed "MAMA ige baro meoshin gira" in the beginning.

Who won?

Praised as ONE OF THE BEST performers in the K-pop industry and not being nominated for that category is a slap in the face. Yet, these boys still showed up, gave the best performance of the night while having fun. Ateez is the definition of 멋.

idc what anyone else says. THEY are performers of the year and if you can't accept that then reevaluate. just look at the energy they have. no one else comes close

As an atiny, I agree. I didn't watch mama, but I heard people raving about how Ateez saved the night, even looking at this comment section I have to agree. Ateez did amazing and this song is my current favorite of theirs. Love you Ateez! Atiny for life

Even though they were not nominated for awards other than Worldwide fan's choice, they nailed the performance as always....hope they get the appreciation they deserve! ❤️ EDIT: Thank you so much for this much love n support ❤️

After watching this I am getting the Big Bang vibes from them.. And I am sure that they will be the next big ones in K-pop

ateez really turned this show into a fun celebration, I appreciate them bringing the ateez energy like always

Ateez have the best performance stage on mama, however didn't nominated for best performances. But I proud to say that I'm the fan of the best performance, vocal, legendary group in the world.

I can't say that this is a Big Bang level yet, but they're on the right path. The live singing, the ad libs, the having fun performing on stage. Cause I need more performance like this. Ateez yall did great!!!

Bigbang is on another level, they just having fun, not dancing and doesn't give af about mama at all 😂😂😂😂😂 and yeah i agree with ya. Atleast there is a 4th gen group who is not afraid to having fun on stage like ateez did.

Their performance and energy is unmatchable.

Ateez is one of the best live performers ever. They are really talented and know how to get the crowd to chant their name. They can be serious performers when they need to be, but they knew that MAMA21 was gonna have a live audience and took advantage of it by having a rave at the end. Truly the best, most entertaining performances of the night!

Look how fun and festive their performance was. They prepared a lot but mama didn't even bother to prepare an award for them.

Agree!! This is such an energetic and hype song.

They were the best at 2021MAMA Because I first saw Mama and I saw ATEEZ and then I heard a turbulence and now I'm atiny. If it was not ateez, I would not have listened to idol music yet. Some groups lip-sync and some groups made fakes that were not seen at real concerts. The ATEEZ are filled with energy on their own. Energy!! That's what they've got

Don't worry I also feel the same way like you, there were some parts I did like in some of my favs performances but that was just it, i liked everything in Ateez's performances they are seriously on another level

They literally brought the culture of Korea here and presented it so beautifully. And man the local jokes, Satoori lines, their smirks, bgm and the dance break everything was gold. They slayed as they always did!!

ATEEZ is the standard!! No offense to other 4th gen groups out there but Ateez just hits different
