SELF-LIT LG OLED
See how OLED redefines picture quality.
Once you’ve seen LG OLED TV with your own eyes, you’ll understand.
It’s stunning picture that redefines quality. Millions of OLED pixels emit their own light independently and can be completely turned off. This unveils perfect black, over a billion rich colors and infinite contrast. From the gridiron to the iron throne, no detail goes unseen.

@@nothisistoni You shouldn't go with OLED for that use case.
@kwedl
2 жыл бұрын
@@nothisistoni I have been using the LG CX 48 as a monitor for pretty much exactly 2 years now, around 7-8 hours a day, at 100 brightness and HDR enabled and still have no signs of "burn in" or image retention at all and only did one pixel refresh once after a year just in case. All i did was just leave on the pixel shift that's turned on by default, set the taskbar to auto hide and use a dark/black wallpaper which i already did before that. Recent OLED panels have advanced a lot when it comes to burn in prevention. The CX/C1/C2 will also turn down the brightness a ton when they notice that nothing on the screen has moved for a few minutes. LGs software is really smart when it comes to that stuff. And if you want to go completely the safe route, just use a good old black screensaver that kicks in after 15-20 minutes.

GOt the lg c1. Got some issue's. 720p is a issue with some of your tv's. LG c1 seems like 720p, pc mode and low latency mode seems to tear the screen. Can you make a update to solve this issue? The angle tint can be seen wile using windows. Any way to get ride of it. Maybe it's the residue of the safety plastic? Got the evo c1 they told me online. Mine is a blueish angle tint see it most with , it's very faint. Kinda makes the bold colors kinda change darker shade as well. maybe it's something with windows 11?. It's doing ok so far. Was reccemended online for being the best tv. I went with it. The price was kinda high. Gotta work on that.

Oled has two serious drawbacks. The risk of matrix burnout and huge reflections from the screen as if from a mirror (completely unsuitable for use on a sunny day). There is a chance that there will be dies with a good anti-reflective coating?
@ian.williamson
2 жыл бұрын
Glossy coating on screens is actually much better in terms of visual quality, there’s a reason why all the high-end tvs are moving to glossy, even the non-oleds. Matte screens diffuse light more to reduce glare, but inadvertently diffuse the light coming from the screen as well.
@Lumperator
2 жыл бұрын
@@ian.williamson A TV with a glossy coating will lose its contrast properties during the day because you see reflections on the screen and not deep blacks. It's not serious to me.
@ian.williamson
2 жыл бұрын
@@Lumperator it doesn’t lose contrast lmao, and people that want a good tv should also get a good tv mount that can adjust to help with glare. I agree OLED is best in the bedroom at night and brighter tvs are good for brighter rooms. But even those tvs are glossy, the brightness makes up for it
@JustinEmlay
