Honestly, as someone that has a car with only wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, I wish I could just plug my phone in. The wireless connection isn't as reliable, and then the phone gets way too hot while it's wirelessly charging and sending data at the same time, so it stops charging. I end up just plugging it in to charge every time lol.

I completely agree, Chris. I test drove the K5 several weeks ago and from my brief time behind the wheel I felt Kia is nowhere near the quality levels of the Accord. The Honda Accord has been the gold standard in this segment for 30 + years. Honda has baked in such outstanding engineering and quality into all their products.

But no AWD in the Accord. that was a huge deal breaker for me when i was shopping around. I LOVE the 2.0L turbo, but lack of AWD is a no go for me.

I was deciding between that V6 Camry and the K5, went the K5 route and am very happy with the decision. Kia has a great warranty and has a lot more tech than the Camry offers. Was an easy choice imo.

@@xXriverratsXx Lot more tech? They have the same safety and entertainment technology so that's a flat out lie. At least Toyota's safety features actually work. Watch some videos on automatic braking tests for Hyundai/Kia...pretty hilarious stuff.

LOL. Good luck getting more than 50% of what you paid when you go to sell this car. The fact that they have to offer a 10yr/100k mile warranty to get people to buy these speaks volumes. Toyota could offer a 1 year 10k mile warranty and people would still buy corollas like hotcakes

This won’t last half as long, and the powertrain is much smoother and more refined on the Camry, without having to be turbocharged!

Not game over. Honda is much more reliable. Also, the Accord’s interior is more refined.

@@alh06 I drove a Camry with the 4cyl AWD. This powertrain is miles better than the camry. The 8 speed auto in the Kia is way better than the Camry's. The one thing about Camry's, is you can get a good lease deal on them, and the resale value is much higher.

@@matty1053 I'd have to disagree, this engine (turbo) is very coarse and throttle mapping isn't the most responsive. Downshifts tend to lag, and the ride is not as comfortable.
