I called Honda Powersports Chattanooga TN 9/28/2001 looking for the 2021 CRF300L Rally. Was told two to three months wait. They called next day and delivered it to me 9/30/2021. I saved $1700 over another dealer in GA. No dealer fees, no delivery fees. MSRP and $30 administrative fee only. I called 10 other dealers and no one had one of these in stock and did not know when they would get one. My salesman was Gus and very pleased with this purchase/service by dealer.

Excellent review, thanks. I think it's a better deal than the CRF300L because suspension costs so much to upgrade. Between the shock and the forks, you're looking at $1,500 to $2,000 range. If you were to upgrade the ECU and eek more HP out of this bike, it seems like it could be the unicorn bike - plus, an exhaust that lets it breathe.

The KLX300 just seems to be a good honest all around bike with a great suspension for the price. The CRF300l seems to be the same really but needs help in the suspension department. The vs videos say the Honda has a little more torque at lower rpms that the KLX but the numbers are so close it's not worth a debate. Nice video and a good job on the practical aspects of the bike. The KLX is ready to ride in my opinion so I'm leaning that way but price usually determines what way I go.

My klx300 picked up some grunt, just pulling the snorkel. Added a Delkevic 14" Stubby SS Oval, which retains the o2 bung, and it picked up even more power (even running the included sparky insert), with no sign of lean condition, and no tuner. The sparky is quieter than the "street baffle", with great sound that's still pretty quiet at steady throttle.

I wish Kawasaki made an ADV version of the KLX300 with a 6 gallon fuel tank, large rear rack, bash plate, fuel gauge, hopefully switchable ABS, and maybe a few little improvements such as larger pegs and maybe LED lights all around. It's the less annoying version of the Loud Pipes Save Lies myth. On the other hand, conspicuity lighting improves motorcycle safety and bright yellow lights and/or flashing lights result in fewer "I didn't see you!" accidents.

Ouch! First time I've been called a horrible rider (I'm no pro but I can hold my own), plus it's a KLX300 not a race bike! Reviewing it like that simply wouldn't do the bike justice, it isn't designed for that

@@onthebackwheel Thanks, seriously considering the KLX300. I want a bike I can trail ride, and cross public roads without breaking the law. I currently ride a KTM 450xcw, and its awesome off road, but you can't plate it. Also, its really high maintenance in terms of service intervals.

@@timothym2241 its a good bike, it will feel like a pussy cat compared to your 450 though. Depending what state you are in, you can plate a lot of bikes now. You're still going to have that maintenance problem though. The CRF450L is probably the closest you'll get that still has the performance

Hi there. That's the radiator overflow. You keep a little bit of fluid in their so it can suck fluid back into the radiators or overflow into it
