Although I can totally understand moving on to a new chapter in life, but I think it feels better for the videos to be open as it is just for a sight of memory.

Yep I generally chose Choice hotels (Clarion, Comfort, Mainstay, Quality, Sleep, etc) back when I travelled for work before being grounded from Covid. They're just reasonable, consistent, quiet, clean and inexpensive. Usually however on the last night of a multi-day trip I'd splurge on a Residence Inn before flying back home

A big one for me, especially if the hotel is near a major highway, is the blackout curtains. Do they allow for sleeping in total darkness?

I like it here.

Certainly more 'modern'' of a style with the renos. I don't think it looked bad before but certainly looks more colourful and eye catching now. Going to assume the breakfast area and pool look the same/

When next hotel tour of this property

Looks different, looks like they replaced the sink, new toilet, new tub and bathroom was redone. Floor is brand new throughout the room

A newer and possibly more efficient Pacific terminal air conditioner unit, a much more efficient dual flush toilet, old-fashioned lighting replaced with possible LED lighting.

Yeah, sadly. The toilets that used to be in this hotel are Mansfield Alto toilets.
