Leave that swing arm gold. Gold on a 250r is super nostalgic

Cool, another build series to follow, dont need to se every nut and bolt go in,but nice to hear the plan behind the build and reasoning for the parts beeing used.Personally i never moved away from the LTR after we got our first one,we have built a few from mild to wild and a few CRF and RMZ hybrids.Unfortunally not many 250 Rs for sale in my neck of the woods but i want to build one,and may have to take a route similar to yours to get it done :)

Exactly how I feel! I really enjoy watching in depth build videos but every now and then its nice to just get a brief overview. I really miss my LTR and wish I wouldn't have sold it. I almost got another one before I started this build but figure it will be much easier to get my hands on an LTR later this year than another 250r. The Z may go up for sale if I decide to go back to an LTR. How do you like the hybrids and were they fairly easy to build and sort out? Did you use the OEM LTR frames or did you go Walsh?

@@PatrickRiggs33 I did a lot of research before my first RMZ EFI build so i had a lot of options on how to build it and made my own more or less bolt in kit.I also built an LTR with a new 2018 CRF for this season with a mix of my own parts and motor mounts+alu tank for CRF fuelpump from Hamson racing, this engine can be fitted without frame mods with the right motor mounts and spacers.I do also have a 2013 Full Walsh CRF 450R.

Don’t like the blue gold doesn’t go with blue it goes with red and so will the white and your right about saving the original gold powder on the swing arm they are hard to find in good shape after you bake them they tend to crack around the carrier pinch bolts It’s always nice to start with a freshly powdered frame

@@BradMason2014 Ah that's cool, I have family that lives over in Palm Bay. We used to ride the compound all the time until it got shut down. We would make some pretty killer high speed grass turn tracks out there! I've never been to Mesa but their house is only 15-20 minutes away. I try to stay away from some of the bigger more serious MX tracks as I always tend to push it too much and get hurt. Split my helmet in half and blacked out for 5 minutes at Hardrock up in Ocala 😳. Definitely man, I usually ride Croom every weekend we will have to link up eventually 👍
