Power, luxury, safety, and technology at a reasonable price, this Geely got all of that covered.

This will definitely become a seller. I am not so easily convinced and was skeptical of Geely until I drove the coolray sport and then the rest was history now I am a believer of Geely. Power, handling, braking, real funtional features like the eco, normal, and power mode that changes engine response. I am absolutely convinced that Geely will become a topseller soon. Their prices are too good for the technology they put on their vehicles. Only time will tell with regards to the durability and reliability of these vehicles but as for now I can say its built well.

This is the best review I watched so far for this car. Vince even share out-of-the-box informations such as the hack thing on the okavango's car display. He even tried sitting both 2nd and 3rd rows just to let us see what it looks like and feels like when car is on the road.

I was amazed at the interior and exterior looks also the tech and features but it still has a lot to prove specifically on reliability because this car is new to the automotive industry.

If only I had the need for a 7 seater, I will definitely get this one.

This is one of the best reviewers I have seen by a mile. Most Pinoy vloggers/reviewers kiss the asses of those who lent the car and are not being objective but this one is not.

Thanks for the video. It's a CrossOver that has created the most usable cargo space of any vehicle for its size that I've ever seen.

I have driven this and its such a pleasant experience and the interior is really good. The only thing stopping me from getting this is the availability of parts, i have been lurking in the Geely FB group and it takes months bago dumating yung parts.

Which is normal since Geely is fairly new in the Philippines. Okavango is just 8 months old. Even other brands will have issues for parts availability for new models

@@jly1903 depends on your driving habit. If fuel consumption is more important to you than tech and features, get an innova instead. Just remember that Innova has one of the worst interior in this segment. Id say BRV is in the middle. Better fuel consumption than okavango and better interior than innova.

Yes coz it has a turbo and mild hybrid system. It has the highest hp in its class

Hi. Great video. But could you confirm the dimension for its length. It says 4460 mm, instead of 4835 mm as shown in the brochure. Same with width which is shown as 1825 mm in your video as opposed to 1900, and 1620 mm height versus 1785 mm.

Apologies for that. The dimensions towards the end were from another model. The dimensions Vince mentioned at the start are correct though.

I wish the next Geely Okavango will be available in 2 or 2.5 liter diesel engine (for better fuel consumption since diesel is much cheaper), improve the sound system, have center cup holder on the 2nd row, reclining 2nd row (for more comfort for 2nd row passenges), a little bit higher like nissan terra for offroad or uneven terrain, carplay and adroid compatible, wireless charging and for top of the line touchscreen tablet on the 2nd row for entertaiment and awd or 4x4(for premium model). But rightnow its ok or way better compared to Toyota Innova or other competitors except for the fuel consumption since its using premium gasoline. Geely Okavango is really a head turner. My cousin have it and we have been using it lately so I can tell from my own personal experience.

Mahal diesel, 300k for ambient lighting sa Innova u cant change the colours, Okavango jas ambient lighting but change to any infinite colour. U have also better touches than plastic Japan worse cousin of China plastic Toyota.

I guess the better competitors for the Geely Okavango are the Mazda CX-9 and the Hyundai Santa Fe? Fellow mid-sized crossover SUVs.

some of the Okavango owners feel degraded when people call Okavango as MPV, not as SUV. Don’t know why. Is it a downgrade if its categorized as MPV?

Basically yes. Because an SUV can take on rough terrains and mountains whilst an MPV is a multi purpose vehicle intended only for city use(cargo transporter/people carrier). But if you think of it, the okavango is nowhere just a conventional MPV. It's on a another level MPV. Times are changing. Even the scooters were just a motorcycle intended for city scooting but now it can take on standard motorcycles or even better. It now can go very long distances without any problems. Same goes with MPVs.

Yes it's engine is stronger than most japanese MPVs. Chinese vehicles have stronger engines nowadays than japanese(atleast in the philippine market). Even for trucks. But in terms of longevity and refinement I beleive it's still not on par with japanese

mahirap parts (compared sa mga normie cars like vios, innova, accent) Mahal maintenance kasi sa casa palang ito as much as possible. Parang bumili ka ng volvo or benz, hindi naman yun ipapamaintain sa friendly talyer.
