Opposing kitchen slide often gives you 3 things, smaller counter top and cabinets, less space when slides are closed like when driving and the slide sticks out into your patio area cutting down useable space under the awning. It can give you a lot of indoor floor space. Very nice review thank you gentlemen.

I have traveled the world, japan, ireland, korea and such, but as a wise old man told me, you can travel the world all you want, but until you have seen all of our state, you have not lived. As i have aged i have realized how right he was. Keep rving my freinds and if you stopped, take this as a hope you get back to exploring.

Hey brother just checked out your video after seeing the same RV on Matt's channel. I actually liked yours better because it was more informative from a user's point of view. Your boy did a great job also. I will share something about loosing the weight. I'm 6' 2" and was 255 lbs. I ended up having symptoms for prediabetes, and after discussing things with my doctor I went on a Keto diet. The main importance of the diet was to drop carbs. After being on the keto diet for 6 months I'm down to 235 lbs. For exercise all I do is walk. Sometimes with my dog, sometimes without. I use an app that's free from The Play Store called Carb Manager, if you want to try it out. It works very well. You'll know you've got the right app if you see the icon is a white circle with a green "C" and a red "M". Blessings to you and your family, and PTL. If you have any questions catch me on Facebook if you'd like.

I bought the 2020 Entegra Accolade 37TS, like you said I love the opposing slide outs. Of course, I only have one full split bath at mid ship, which I kinda like. Now for what I dislike: 1) Not enough power ports on the dash for my gadgets (Garmin RV 890, Haloview monitor (better picture to see behind my pickup when I’m towing it or when I put my kayak rack on the back of the RV), my TPMS, a dash cam, and the Patriot brake controller. 2) The shower does have a seat; but, it really is too big for the small shower stall, it would have be better to have the seat under the shower head so you could further away from the shower head. 3) Since I don’t and won’t drink the water from the refrigerator or use the ice, I wish I could have got the refrigerator without those two items. Here are my likes: 1) With opposing slides, you really could have a dance party (like I dance) in the living room. 2) The massive storage outside because my wife thinks I take enough tools to build a house, really not that many but plenty. 3) The pure visibility going down the highway, I like seeing over the cars and pickups in front of me. Some of my modifications: 1) Installed a new power fuse block under the dash for two 12 volt (cigarette light style) power ports on each A pillar and four USB power ports installed in the (believe it or not) the ashtray. 2) Pulled the glass doors off the shower and installed a curved shower rod to create more space for the shoulder area and don’t have to wipe the glass after each shower. 3) A hotel style safe behind the bedroom TV. I have a few things I’ve been thinking about; i.e., relocating the water pump to make it accessible, installing the See Level tank monitoring system because the factory system is not accurate, install a Bluefire Adapter for see more engine diagnostic readings while going down the road, and switching the water heater out for a tankless system.

First, great video. I’ve been going back and forth between the Entegra Odyssey 30z and that one, mainly because I love the floor plan with the living room area being separate from the kitchen. Second, try intermittent fasting. It works for me. But you have to be committed to living a healthier life. Think of it this way….if you make living healthier (regular exercise, eating healthier, which includes drinking healthier, etc.), you never have to diet. Burn more calories than you take in and I promise you will notice the difference. I have faith in you. God bless you and continue enjoying life.

Does run all electric with no propane any solar or solar energy ran generator’s? What’s fuel capacity and how much does it cost to fill the tank? Your son was great! Thank you both for the extensive review. I don't know why Entegra didn't put the bedroom outlets on the nighstands instead of on the side of the bed. That's just silly. Really hard to get to. Also, where did you get the soap containers in your shower? That's a great idea! I agree with your son on the fridge. When camping without a tow vehicle, you can't really make trips to the grocery store so that big fridge would come in handy. Also agree on the lack of opposing slides. I'd actually sacrifice the 2nd toilet for a bigger living room and perhaps an additional pantry or larger full bath.

I believe our main slide is a rack and pinion type and bedroom slide is on a Schwintek style. I've heard of slideout issue with newer Super Cs and Class As alike due to manufacturers not completing processes properly. We've been blessed to apparently have one that was built during the Pandemic but before the mass layoffs and deaths. So we haven't had any of those issues as of yet.

Hello- great video and thanks for sharing- how did you install the steering stabilizer? Did you do it yourself or had someone else install it? Any videos you can share? If you had it installed by someone else, what was the cost? Did it make a difference in the drive? Thanks so much,

  • @searchingwhilesupercing1333

Hey, so for the stabilizer I did that myself. The install was straight forward, there were only a couple KZread videos out there that describe it but if I had to do it again I'd let an expert do it. Mainly because I didn't have the right tools readily available. The difference is major, no more crosswinds and big trucks pushing us to the side as much.

Thanks Jeff. The noise level is bearable, it's definitely not a Rolls Royce. I personally like it, I can hear what my engine and trans are doing. I haven't seen any Class C's or Super C's that have a laptop tray, I feel it's a Class A and smaller B thing. Unfortunately my seats don't swivel as of now. I don't believe any manufacturer using S2RV chassis has swivel seats, you'd have to move up to the M2 or MV chassis from International. I do play on adding this feature since it's not difficult to install.. Hope this helps.

Well we haven't really experienced any serious grades as of yet, at the most maybe 7-9% incline once or twice. If anything there is a learning curve because if you've never driven a vehicle this size or felt diesel on a smaller scale you'd think it was underpowered. Truth be told this is our 3rd diesel and switching to manual mode changes ratios and mapping which definitely gives you the power you feel like you're missing. If anything I'd rather pay some extra money to get rid of my DEF system altogether but it's against the law😏😏😏

Hi Charles, we've had little issues so far. Cockpit seats not electrically working and one of our exhaust fans recently stopped working. I am still troubleshooting. We hired an inspector for Pre-Delivery so many items were caught that needed to be addressed before we left the dealership. My one suggestion is get what you like but hire an inspector before you sign away. Do you know what floorpan you are looking for or is going to be the same as ours?

@@searchingwhilesupercing1333 Thanks for the quick response. We’re going with the 37K as well, probably be a 22 at this point. We were considering the bunk model, have twin four year old boys, but think the overhead will be just fine and the extra bath will be nice. The inspector for pre delivery is a great idea. I’m a contractor, and have been of the mind that rv’s are rv’s, and I’d just fix what is needed, but your idea is much better for initial purchase. Not that mpg’s matter much with this, what kind of average are you seeing of you don’t mind. Appreciate the input.

@@Charlie-go6eb as the boys grow, one will most likely take the couch while the other will choose the bunk or the dinner table. I'd settle for the bunk it has the better view at night. I think right now hiring an inspector is imperative because of the quality of workmanship coming out of Indiana across ass makes and models. The other reason is at this price point some things should be turn key and not figure out as you go so you expect some sense of peace of mind especially when you're on the road with the family and enjoying the camping experience. Now MPG varies because my wife averages about 10-11 while towing and I average about 8-9 while towing. I hate big trucks passing me...

Great question. I would compare it to buying a prefab house. It's good but get an inspector before you sign the dotted line. We've only had small issues but imagine your house going through an earthquake for a couple hours per week. There's going to be some stuff that shakes loose, so some of which is to expected with a RV. Luckily all of our issues have been quick fixes or ok to put off until it is serviced. So very reliable for us and our type of travels.

Since you asked for help with getting down in weight. Look into cutting carbs and time restricted eating. There are over 30 names for sugar in the American diet and its poisoning us. Once I learned that almoat everything had processed sugars from corn, soy and wheat added, I cut most of that out. Also look into throwing away all oils except real extra virgin olive, avacado and ghee, (clarified butter). Vegetable oil, canola, and almost all other oils are refined with heat and hexene solvent (gasoline refining) and are omega 6 and inflammatory to the human body in the amounts that are in our food. I did the above and got my Sixpack back at 43 with no other changes. Good luck.
