2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer RS AWD Review - Call Me Crazy

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Call me crazy, but this 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer RS with all-wheel drive just might be better than some of GM's more premium products. M.S.R.P. - $30,580.

I love the no bs style of running through of the vehicles features. I get a headache when other vehicle reviewers drag the videos out too long.

I completely agree. It's a very compelling vehicle, and I was surprised by how peppy the 3-cylinder engine felt in day to day driving. I even drove it to Augusta and back on a Christmas present run (don't ask, bad planning on my part), and it was great on the highway. People need to check out this little SUV. They'll be glad they did. Great review as always!

I've always liked Chevy cars. I also test drove this and it was surprisingly good. The interior is gorgeous and spacious for a small SUV. I love the front end look and those LED headlights...that is one sick look when u see it coming up behind you in the rear view mirror.

I would suggest an extended power train warranty. These motors come with a timing and oil pump belt good until 150k miles but will it be covered after your power train warranty is up? Kind of a grey area. Better show on time oil changes etc. My ford with the 1.0 had the same exact setup and it's crucial to change the oil on time and with the exact oil it calls for. The belts are submerged in oil and they have been breaking prematurely on the 1.0 ecoboost engines ruining them. I like what Chevy has done with this, just get that warranty :).

The AWD system in this TrailBlazer is really good and better than the competition, including Subaru's base system (without wilderness pkg). I would totally purchase one of these were they not overpriced by about $5k. For the money, I think the Ford Maverick is far better in every way.

I know it is still early, but I have seen WAY more Trailblazers out on the road in my area than Bronco Sports. Saturday, my wife and I were in town, and kept noticing the many Trailblazers we were seeing, and then only saw one Bronco Sport. But, I think that both vehicles will be successful. You know, cars used to be great because of competition, a little friendly competition between GM and Ford would make this segment exciting, and that is what it needs. I just wonder, is the Bronco Sport more off-road worthy than the Trailblazer? Granted, I don't want to rock crawl or mud bogging, but want to be able to take a back road trail.

  • @mattoneill3909

  • @AutoAcademics

We've been noticing that with the inclusion of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, some manufacturers are making factory nav systems optional, even with higher end brands. Since I tend to default to Android Auto for my needs, if it saves some money on the consumer end I'm ok with it on vehicles like this Trailblazer, but on the higher end vehicles it's unacceptable. I understand your disappointment, though. Thanks for watching!

Running kumo all-terrain tires power stop cross drill slotted rotors with ceramic brakes on a Bilstein suspension system. Stock engine upgraded transmission with a trans cooler system and it just yells performance. All the current SUVs today in 2021 and probably in 2022 and nothing but plastic pieces of junk but a lot of garbage internals and a lot of problems that are develop look at the cars right now all the new modern SUVs name the brand it's got a problem. And with active fuel management it becomes a 4 cylinder on the highway 21 in the city 36 on the highway using cruise control not bad for a car that's over 17 years old
