2021 Can-Am Maverick X3 Clunk - Shock Therapy For The Fix

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

So in this video I show how to fix the suspension clunk on a 2021 Can-Am maverick X3 XDS Turbo RR. My brand new Can-Am has just over 200 miles on the clock and already I have a pair of failed sway bar links. Luckily shock therapy has a solution for all types of suspension noise including the sway bar links.

Mine is currently making the exact same clunking or banging noise. I know what you mean! Seriously makes you think your front end or frame is breaking every time you hear it, Thanks for the info! I knew it was close or related to the swaybar but couldn't pinpoint the problem until now.

Just bought a 2023 X3 max DS within the first 15 miles the dreaded clunk. Can-Am should really take care of this problem. I’m going in next week for my first service. Going to let them know. We will see how this goes.

Great video, I have a 2017 xrs and thought it's just the way it is, but I understand now. You say adjust to size?? Does this mean adjust to the length of the factory ones that can off. It may be a dumb question but I've got to ask. DG.

I have an 2020 rr same as you. What I don’t like about these Hiem fittings no seals. I’m in water and mud all the time. They would not last.

Disconnected my front sway, no issues at all. Ever. Ran Moab, Alpine loop, Imogene pass, sand, mud, corners, crawling… Don’t even need it. (There is videos of this from other people so I didn’t bother even making one). Disconnect my rear while rock crawling only. Never for over 20 mph or pavement. It clunks some times, but it’s never been enough to bother me. 2021 Max with shox, 900 miles and counting. Most of these companies just make stuff just to make stuff. Like an $8 rod end for your sway bar you can buy at any hardware store, laser etch your logo on it, and charge $200 to all the cool kids who want to “overland”

What a shame for a $30k+ machines!!! CAN & AM needs to hire Japanese not Chinese engineers. Come on Honda, stop fooling around with pride and old design! It's time to catch up with wider, and better looking and sounding UTVs with your mechanical reliability.

The problem with all the manufacturers is that if the quality goes up, so does the price. $30k machines will be $40k or $50k, but I totally agree with you.

@@MohawkDaveOffRoad For sure, but I would rather pay $40k for a long-lasting reliable machine, than $30k for something that might break down in middle of the mountains running mine and my friends vacation. It would be nice to see a Sport SxS with Maverick X3 looks, Honda's reliable engine and dual clutch real tranny, and KRX built quality. Which to my opinion would be the best SxS ever built.
