I have a 2023 Envision. Can I navigate my USB to find music from the steering column or do I have to manually use my finger to press the forward or back arrows to find a certain song as I've been doing for the last 4 months. @@TwoGuysandaRide

Excellent! I do have to comment that GM marketing fails again. To get the lumbar support option you have to get the 'use it a few then forget about it' massaging feature. Lumbar support should be an included feature on all up level seats!!!! Dont get me started on GM's lack of "Brake Hold" feature that majority of competitors now have. Although my lumbar complains, I'm Loving my '23 Envision Aventri

Hi thanks for the video. Wondering how you would mute just your mic volume if you are trying to listen to a conference call in the car. On the enclave there was a button in the steering wheel. I have the envision preferred model

Your welcome! To mute the phone during an active call scroll through the main menu items in the Drivers information screen using the left or right arrows on the right side of the steering w until you come to phone. Then using the up down arrows you should be able to find an option to mute the phone. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Nice video. Does the car have ambient lighting? I saw the option for lighting in the list but you skipped over it.

Thank you so much for this information. One other thing we couldn't figure out is on top of the dash under the light sensor there is a dial that can go left and right with what we think is an O on the right and a I on the left. On the manual says it's called an instrument panel vent but we can't figure out what is actually is and what it does. Please help.

Your very welcome we’re glad you found it useful. The dial is to open and close the two air vents that are to the left and right if the dial. One direction will open and allow air through, and the other direction will close the air vents and not allow air through even the the other air vents in the car have air coming through them. It gives you a little more control. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Good video. My question is there a setting that remembers the radio volume when you start the car? My grandma tells me that every time she starts the car the radio volume is up to high. Almost like it is saved in the memory? If so how can we adjust it ? Thank you

Can the four icons at the bottom of the display be changed? I tried dragging my camera to that area, but it did nit work.

What about car-wash mode? It is NOT like the manual says! The manual says "With engine on and driver in vehicle..." to drive into car-wash, foot on brake, shift in N, release brake. This does NOT work as the cars goes to Park again automatically. So frustrating!

Thanks for the question. Did you press the neutral button until it lit up in red? I believe it requires a couple of pushes. Once it’s lit up in red, you should be able to then release the brake pedal and it should remain in neutral with the engine running. Thanks for watching!

Great info, but do you guys happen to know how to make Album art show up for music, using a USB drive using FLAC files (even the hi-res 24-bit type as well). I embedded album art and it does show up if you browse songs and what-not, but once it's playing on the big screen......it just displays the album, song title & artist, but no album art. My 2016 Chevy Impala showed the album art and with this being newer, it should do the exact same thing. Any suggestions would be welcome to try and it does show album art (I assume through Gracenote) while playing on Android Auto Spotify, ClouPlayer and what-not.

Here are the supported audio file types according to Buick: MP3 . AAC . OGG . 3GP. Gracenote does work with USB Media. I would suggest you try converting some of your FLAC files o one of the above formats and see if Gracenote kicks in to display album art. It might take a bit for the Gracenote to display the album art, but it shouldn't be to long. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

@@TwoGuysandaRide I would say what you say is mostly correct, however, you don't need Gracenote, because I have embedded the album artwork into the FLAC file. I have tried it with an MP3 file and it does not show album art either. Any other things you can recommend?

@@djobitwan7 the only other thing I can think of, is to make sure the usb is properly formatted (FAT32, NTFS, or HFS+) and that there is nothing other than your music on it as other items can apparently mess with the music items. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the question. It sounds to me like your OnStar subscription has expired. It’s not necessary for running the navigation, but offers things like if you call onstar you can have them set a destination and send it to your cars Navigation. I’m guessing you can disable that through the onstar app on the infotainment screen. Then you should stop getting that prompt. One other idea is to see when the message pops up if there is an “X” on the screen you can click to get rid of the message. The owners manual of course does not tell you how to disconnect but if you click on the onstar app on the infotainment screen you should be able to figure it out. The other option is to google onstar, call them and see if they can give you steps to “unsubscribe “ from their service. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. No you do not. What you would need to do is connect your phone via Bluetooth and during that process the car will ask you if you want to use Android auto. Click yes and your now wirelessly connected to the infotainment system via Android Auto . One thing to remember- if your connected via Android Auto you will need to press the android auto button for anything to do with your phone including streaming music. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. The easiest way to unmute the audio is to press the phone button on the steering wheel (while you are not on a call). In regards to the radio constantly initializing, I would suggest seeing if there is an update available and try installing the update to see if that solves the issue. Yep after sitting idling for a long time. Not reflective of its actual mpg.

2nd night of owning this car the software completely ate it, screen is unusable and it's stuck in back up camera. Nice job gm software devs.

I own a 2022 model and 6 months in a software update failed and the drivers panel has gone black. “Chip failure” is the diagnosis and none are available in the supply chain now going into the third month. Vehicle runs fine but This is a crippling failure and no buick dealership wants to touch this. Now searching KZread for other examples of this problem and seeing what I can do to fix this. Did you eventually get this fixed?

If I understand correctly, you are asking what the buttons are at the bottom of the screen and those are shortcuts you click on The phone icon will take you straight to the phone screen, the navigation icon will take you straight to the map. There’s also shortcuts to media and climate. And the first icon on the left is your home button. Thanks for watching

If You're driving no browsing it's all disabled and wants you to use voice command. I would have loved this but these protective measures are bullshit. technology sucks it should be an option. F Buick!
