+1. for the MB E63s Kombi. Big Audi UrS6 Kombi fan / owner here. Only recently we ordered an MY22 USA spec MB E-450 Kombi (I6 turbo) for a ‘21September Euro delivery. At $85.5K USD it’s a loaded killer Uber ski-Kombi good for 10 -15 years ownership. The ‘95.5 UrS6 Kombi was our family daily driver of 10 years.... Man, fond memories that understated UrS6 Kombi (RS2 enhanced). .. In today’s N. American market of Kombi offerings, the MB edges out the Audi’s for this buyers money. Cheers, Vail, Colorado

Very timely episode as I was out for my morning breakfast run in my lovely Miata RF and did a double take at the stop light when someone had a beautiful RS7 Sportback in this same paint color but all the trim and badging was in the Audi Sport Red on all the trim pieces that weren’t carbon fiber. I’ve got the C7 (Previous) Generation with the Nogaro Blue Paint and blue Stitching. As it’s the Run Out before they brought this out, it’s the performance version with 605hp, slightly more powerful than this one tested. It doesn’t have the silly filter on though like this one. The filter saps the noise. I’d say if you can then wait 2 years and they will bring a performance version of this out. It will be off it’s chain........

My guess is to please the significant other who may desire a higher seating position and does not have to worry about getting it stuck on a curb or parking block. The E63s offers such a raw visceral experience. I don’t care how good that Audi looks, I prefer a car that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, not a car that has to look good to society. Sorry but the Audi looks boring to drive in comparison.
