I agree with you. This is the bike I was waiting for! I find it perplexing how none of the manufacturers figured this out before. I hope they sell bazillions of them. If they prove reliable I can definitely see this replacing my aging VFR for commuting/sport touring and all round do-it-all bike.

It's a niche premium brand, it can't be compared with the Japanese (dealerships amount), unfortunately. I don't know where you're from, but it's the same everywhere, even in Europe. That's the downside of owning an exotic brand bike/car, especially considering the fact that they break a lot more than the Japanese, so you need to get to the dealerships more often.

So it seems to take care of the V4 based bike lighting issues (finally). I didn't hear about fuel mileage. Those are my only 2 issues with the 1100 Tuono. Needs better light and a bit better mpg would be great. I average about 30-32 on my Tuono. Im thinking this bike could do low -mid 40mpg. What's the verdict?

Just watched the vid. Very nice, however I was begging you to rev the thing.. I needed some more point and squirt twisties with some hard accelerations between really but it is what it is.. I am seriously considering downsizing from litre bikes to slow down a little and bring back the cog swapping enjoyment of riding bikes, hard, without the risk of ending up in prison every time I crack open the throttle. Best get a demo booked in the new year! 😁👍🏻

I've heard a lot of negative comment on the yellow(ish) one, but I really like the color - what I think makes it weird are the red wheels, it would be much smoother with black rims. And if you care in the slightest about cleanliness or esthetics you don't want any color other than black.

That isn't just "a little bit more sporty" than a Ninja 650, it's A LOT more sporty. The N650 is barely sporty at all! It's near standard (Z650) with a sportsbike look. The N650 engine peaks at 8K rpms, just where the RS660 is getting started. And the 180 vs 270 engine makes a lot of difference in the sporty sound.

It’s priced as close to a brand new r1 as it as Sv 650 17k and 6.5k respectively. And if your 90hp bike wheel spins you need new tyres or better ones. Anti wheelie😂😂😂😂 those bars ain’t coming up unless you front brake, clutch and throttle with damned good tug of the bars.
