Great content! Installed them today on my ‘19 Giulia RWD. Definitely feel the difference! Thanks!

Great to hear! they really change the front end feel, funny some guys in the comments negate this without ever trying it. glad your seeing the benefits.
If it's Giulia Quadrifoglio content then I'm tuning in. Some car 👍
You always have good content thanks

I appreciate that!
Amazing upgrade!! night and day difference. It's a must of you plan on track or corning hard.
Nice find.
Very interesting, thank you for sharing 👍
Would this fit on the 2.0? I haven’t taken a close enough look at my own so I’m asking out of curiosity
How about during turning with the suspension being compressed? Will it rub against the chassis?
Probably beefed up on the Stelvio because it's a heavier car, the QV probably doesn't need it. But I guess it won't do it any harm! Might even be a running change?
This is a great find. My QV is track-only (Road Atlanta). I'm definitely doing this mod and will report back on my channel after my next track event. Well, may be after my October event because I doubt I'll get this done by my August 14 event. BTW, I can't find your link to the part numbers you used.

try them out on the 2021 car i noticed a big difference just on some backroads now how these will work on earlier cars I do not know but it clearly can not hurt one bit. I am curious if the Giulia Q4 uses these forged aluminum links or if this is just a Stelvio part. If i didn't have to repair a screw in the tire on the Stelvio I would have never even explored this but when I saw the part my curiosity made me order them to try.

@@autofanaticcars I don't see why it wouldn't work on my 2017 QV, which also has the wimpy end-links. I just looked at my 2021 Stelvio Ti Lusso Q4 which also has the cast end-links like the ones you just installed must be a Q4 thing.

@@autofanaticcars i have checked on my Giulia Q4, it has the same forged aluminium ones like the Stelvio Q4 does. If it really does make a difference in steering feel in upgrading these on the Giulia QV, and by all means, imo the OEM Giulia QV has better steering feel than the OEM Veloce/TI, would be great to identify what are the other suspension differences between the 2 models that can make such a difference. Can it be only from ride height difference, which chances geometry and adding more negative camber? Would really appreciate to hear your feedback. Thx
What's your favorite tire for daily driving?
Hello, could you help me with adding negative camber on my 2022 Alfa Guilia QV? I'm sure I saw it on one of your videos but can't find it. Front tire wear is too excessive. Thanks Luca
You should make a video how to fit GMS camber caster kit I would like to view review from you

@@autofanaticcars me too :). We have chatted on the last video related to GMS, had the same question as Ales. You really made me curious about this end links. I will check in the morning if the Q4 has the upgraded ones. Great content as usual, thx!
Is the Stelvio a standard 4 cylinder model or is it a Quad ? Just curious if the 4 cylinder Stelvios have the upgraded piece or is it only the Stelvio Quads that have it ? Great vid....

Yeah good question! Aka is it super expensive lol
RWD cars usually have thinner steel links. I thought the difference in shape was mainly because of the difference in material. Give us an update whenever you do the rest of the suspension. Also I just replaced the ones on my mom's c class and the aluminum ones were like $60 for both.

the all wheel drive has the same links. Mine are failing on quadrafoglio so wanna try these. Its apparently very common as alfa beefed up the anti roll bar yet left the drop links the same ! on all rwd models. The forces the drop links have to deal with are huge on quadrafoglio so its nuts they left the drop links the same as say the 1.8.
It's crazy how this part costs $200 just because it has AR name on it. More insane TRW makes them for FCA. Good stuff Phil as always !
Is this sway bar upgrade valid for the 2.0 Stelvio/Giulia as well?
@autofanaticcars

you need to check what your car comes with, Stelvios already have this part
I have to double check on mine (2017 EU Giulia) since I don't recall it being like that.

let us know your spec and if your car has these links or the cheap steel ones
maybe you need new (shorter) ones with the KW coilover?
@autofanaticcars
2 жыл бұрын
no the KW shock bodies are similar in size to OEM should work perfectly
Great mod, thanks!
Your OEM’s were straight still, or..? They do look a lot like Bmw items. Surprised to see Stelvio use aluminium ones!
Amazingly weak sway bar links considering the performance of the QV. need a driving impression on this simple mod before you do the rest of the suspension. How’s the QV and Stelvio been in terms of reliability?

swapping the end links made a very noticeable difference in front roll and steering response when loading up i could not believe it myself until I drove it afterwards. Watch some of my other videos to learn more about ownership on all these cars.

HI MY FRIEND I HAVE A ALFA ROMEO STELVIO 2018 I NEED TO CHANGE THE STRUT MOUNT ONLY PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ITIS DIFICULTE TO INSTALL OR ANY SPECIAL TOOLS THEY ARE ELETRIC SCHOKS THANKS ANYTHING CAN HELP ME
@autofanaticcars

the removal is easy from the car but you need a special 17mm socket to take the strut mount off and not damage the wire on top. make sure you get the proper tool first.

@@autofanaticcars ok because on dealer they want me to change the schoks and i said the shocks is. Not bad and you can put one new shock and the other old and charging me like $500 to change it
Wonder why all the manufacturers are connecting the sway bars to the struts these days? My Subaru it’s attached to the lower control arm...

I wonder if the Ferrari engineers thought about this mod😮

not when costs are involved due to budgets and accountants on board.
i think this does not improve anything, both have just one job, to transfer the suspension movement to swaybar, if metal one would bend than something has gone really wrong :) and why would you want stiffer front, that just makes car more prone to understeer...

listen considering you never tried it you can not make a subjective comment based on experiences. I installed them and have the car and can tell you and anyone else these do work and improve the cars feel up front.
Anyone had any problems after fitting these? Be interesting to hear from someone whos been running with them for a year or so.

What a special car they originally announced this car with a six speed manual why did it not make it to production is beyond me.

i believe the manual was nixed because of a USA safety issue with frontal crash that the clutch pedal was an issue causing ankle and foot injuries during testing which is also why they went with the IBS brake system to eliminate the typical push rod at the pedal assembly. since Alfa was new to the USA they really needed to have high scores in safety and this is how they passed those tests.
