This Kentucky team was the best team this season until injuries took it’s toll.

Ever since Self literally bragged to the press after a win vs UK years ago, I really look forward to these types of blowouts. GO BBN!

Yeah, I bet. Kansas did win the 2nd Half:) Kansas Win from Years Ago? Make it sound Rare. Which NCAA Season? 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020*, 2021? So many to choose from. Before this game of Absenty Refs, Kansas won 4 of the Last 5 meetings and should be 5 -1 as Kansas was #1 going into 2020 *(No Way with 7ft Udoka Azubuike). Beating UK is a Big Deal, every Win UK gets just makes KU Wins look even better usally. Losses to Notre Dame & LSU not really helping much. I really look forward to these games also. Brooks, Grady & the Big Guy looked Awesome the first half. UK should win the rest of thier 10 games also since none are ranked except (25 & 22) 2 teams. Good Luck in the Tourney UK. @@testwopper13 didn’t know we were giving out awards for a team winning the 2nd half😂. they out scored us by 2 in the 2nd half in garbage time. and you know what’s funny all of those times they beat us they never won a championship😂😭. trash ass program. whooped there ass in 2012 in the title game too

Great win. Huge kudos to Kansas = awesome atmosphere, fantastic fans, incredible program. I always love watching UK & KU go at it. Even in lopsided wins like this they are still always a dogfight...or in our case cat-n-bird fight. Good luck in March!

Well, that was the summit for us Cat fans, and then we made the long ugly trek back down the mountain. Much respect to KU for how they ended the season.

UK fan here and so glad for the beat down, but I have to respect Kansas’s venue. Even on my tv the pregame crowd was LOUD so I can only imagine the adrenaline pump for the fans there.

Agreed. Clearly a top three if not #1 venue in CBB and top 10 in all of sports. Phenomenal atmosphere, fantastic fans, and incredible program! As a huge Kentucky fan, I always love to watch these two battle it out. Even in a lopsided smoking like this it is still fun and hard fought on both sides.

Kentucky is my favorite team

If I told you 2 months later one of these teams won the national championship you'd be surprised by the answer

I'm so glad we are going to the SEC/ACC challenge. Hopefully they mix it up more, I only remember playing lots of games vs Kansas, 1 vs Texas, and 1 vs Texas Tech.

Still, with North Carolina & Louisville generally on our regular season schedule just about every year, instead of Kentucky vs. Kansas you'll now probably see a lot of Kentucky vs. Duke match-up's.

YT blocked it. Apparently somewhere in the middle there is a song that the copyright owners will not allow to be used on YT. I had to delete the video. I edited that song out. It was during the point where they assessed a flagrant 1 to Oscar, so it's all just people standing around looking at monitors. It is currently uploading and will begin processing shortly. I imagine it will be available around 12:30pm EST.

This is the game where all of Ky players realized if we run these simple plays to give our players a advantage or open look, we are really efficient and effective anywhere on the court? Oldest team Ky has had in Cal era, only championship Cal had at Ky was a mix of multiple year players and freshman talent? WORD TO UR MOTHER! 🚀

That 2011-2012 team started 3 freshmen in Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, & Marcus Teague and 2 sophomores inTerrence Jones & Doron Lamb. But to me, the x-factor of that team was us having the best 6th man in the country by a street in senior Darius Miller, and Kyle Wiltcher as a freshman gave the Cats some big minutes off the bench as well. He was a bit of a liability on defense, but lethal as a pick n pop shooter.

Bilas is just about smart....just say'n.

@28:10 jay bilas goes off the rails = that was NOT a foul at all = Jacob Toppin stood straight up. And @ 56:50 the foul was while Grady was shooting a 3 so it should have been 3-shots. Grady only passed it AFTER he was fouled. Again, Bilas is wrong. Bilas is losing his objectivity.

Bias Bilass at it again 28:10 just one example how his favoritism shines through every single game he covers. Then around 28:28 his producer said in his ear piece; “Cover that crap up somehow”. If he thought it was happening on both ends he must’ve forgot to mention it. Sick of his favoritism and wish he’d just cover duke or kansass games on their local channels.

Yes there is a better venue in sports. Wrigley field.

Sorry man, but Allen Fieldhouse gets the nod here. At one time maybe and I said maybe but now fans sit on their hands most games unless it’s BIG GAME.

Jay Bias Bilas continues to ruin games with his eagerness for officials to call more "FOULS" on Kentucky. For every 1 foul not called for Kentucky it seems he wants to point out 5-6 fouls they "missed" or didn't call for Kentucky's opponent. Basketball is a contact sport. There is legal and illegal contact. Just because a player receives contact and flail their arms/head doesn't necessarily mean it's a foul. The same goes when a player like Oscar Tshiebwe receives contact but doesn't budge or react, it doesn't mean it's not a FOUL. Dan Dakich, an Indiana guy who played and coached there, didn't even show the favoritism Jay Bias Bilas shows when he "commentates" a game. Last night sounded like a Jayhawk HOME broadcast for a good part of that 1st half.
