This year was loaded with great players.. KAT, Booker, Harrison twins Poythress. Damn what a team.

Uggh But I now believe Mitch is so hurt that ppl didn't like them, he will keep them out of pride/stubborness!! Lol It's the longest we've kept a set in a while.. I like the Ulis & Murray unis.. Luvvvv the Bahamas uniforms.. Fav all time may be the Rondo, Sparks yr we went to the 70's throwback and played well, so finished the yr with them..

This team and the John Wall, Cousins, Patrick Patterson squad shoulda won a chip with each. And it woulda been crazy if cal won a chip with his first year

It really has been 5 years since i was confident going into the tournament. Too many years with only around two good players...,Just to see them leave again.

Bro game has changed. Problem is Cal hasn’t CALs plays are acient. Watching Baylor play was like being on vacation. Their HC gives them a leash to play and shoot. Kids love it Today’s players don’t want some maniac yelling at him every game. And a offense that centers with the balls disappearing to the center. Cal needs to change is offense ideas. The game has changed

@@austinmiller4832 i’ve watched college basketball a long time. I knew we weren’t winning it in 2019. Ashton Hagans was a weak link. And sure enough he had 7 turnovers and got absolutely abused on defense. You have to have strong point guard play to win that tournament. I wasn’t confident in 2017 because of our draw. we would have had to go through 3 30 win teams just to get to the final four and that has never been done.

This team is similar to 2021 zags as far as legacy but completely different playing style

This & UCLA game in the same season.. 2 of the most humiliating beatdowns of bluebloods. Yes we tk it on chin 2yrs ago vs PUKE.. But there is a difference.. That was a team out of their mind on fire.. Another team who appeared to not have any life once they got hit.. These 2 games I mention were just overwhelmingly dominated by pure size, strength, athleticism, and coming in fresh rotating waves that just humbled their opponents.. Still believe if the Herro, PJ led team gets a rematch in March, it def would have been a completely different gm.. UCF & Va. Tech should both beat them before Mich St did. Still believe if Travis doesn't get hurt in Mizzo gm, and then PJ in SEC tourney.. We def go to final 4, and I think cut nets dn.. Have 2 remember how well we were rolling. Started with Kansas, to that dominate victory over #1 UT.. Then demolition at Vandy, when Cal said he was worried we peaked a cpl wks 2 early.. But had 2 play cpl wks without Reid Travis.. Just got him bk in SEC tourney. Soon as he tries 2 get his footing, PJ ends up in boot after playing only 20mins vs UT sec tourney.. Not returning til after tough 2nd rd Wofford gm. Yes he played great upon return, but it messed with the chemistry and more so the huge wave of momentum and confidence we were riding and building before Travis injury.. Still should had not had lost the Auburn gm. Was in position to finish, then went completely stagnant dn stretch.. But that's part of College bball.. Greatest sport and most passionate of all.. Of course NFL, NBA have larger worldwide followings. But those that follow and esp grew up rooting on their program is by far the most passionate imo! I just wish this season would be bk 2 normal with packed arenas!! Esp Rupp.. it's a shame that the likes of Boston, Clark, Askew, Jackson etc, along with the transfers, esp the older 2, in Mintz & Sarr could feel the true difference and how special it is to play in Rupp.. See the crowds packed and camped out dn the street, 2 just get tickets 4 Big Blue Madness, or the massive following that UK gets in the mosted heated of conference rivals arenas, and finds a way to drown them out with go big blue chants in the final mins of a road Victory! We will not take those days for granted ever again, if we get them back that is! #BBN #GoBigBlue #UK4EVER

This Kentucky team was different.

The truth is as follows. The zebras were inadvertently responsible for the Wisconsin loss. Albeit through ineptitude and I’ll-timed who trips. This coming from a lifelong UofL fan.

Why Cal didn’t win the chip that year was a crime.

Something I never could understand. Its obvious this 14-15 ky team was the best team in the NCAA possibly best team of all time. Sure they lost 1 game but let's be real they are top 3 easy. How do u have that kind of talent yet they shoot free throws like they are in elementary. No defenders no clock pressure but can't shoot for shit from behind the line.

Sad part of this team is Cal screwed them by sticking with the Harrison's down the stretch! Plus how does a team have 3 shot clock violations in the final few mintues! Cal is a great recruiter and a good coach but he has a throw it up and let them play thing that drives me a little nuts!

Yup. Should have let Booker & Tyler Ulis shoot more down the stretch. At least taken out Andrew & let Ulis handle the ball.

@@wildcat8797 y’all are nuts. you don’t take out the back court that led you to back to back final fourd and was on a 38 game winning streak. ulis and booker got abused on D in that game and Booker had been i’ve cold the last 6 weeks of the season. Cal hurt them by being conservative. 4 3 point attempts(i’m not counting aaron’s meaningless heave at the end) the entire game versus a sagging man to man d. inexcusable from a hall of fame coach. cal got scared of the moment and it trickled down.
